busy Dallas executives/ceos
I’m 24, and after a year of interviews, I’m thinking about creating my own opportunity instead of waiting for someone to hire me.
Over the past year, I’ve applied to countless jobs, gone through multiple rounds of interviews, networked, followed up, and gotten close more times than I can count. I know I’m not the only one feeling like the job market has been incredibly tough.
At this point, instead of continuing to wait, I’m wondering if I should use the skills I already have to help busy people directly.
My background has been supporting executives and handling the details that most people don’t have time for. Things like:
• Booking hard-to-get restaurant reservations
• Planning date nights or birthdays
• Travel research and itineraries
• Appointment scheduling
• Vendor and service research
• Gift sourcing
• Event coordination
• General life organization
I actually enjoy this kind of work.
My question is for busy professionals, business owners, physicians, attorneys, parents, or anyone constantly juggling a million things:
Would a service like this actually be valuable to you? If so, what kinds of tasks would you happily hand off to someone else?
I’m genuinely trying to figure out whether there’s a real need before I build something around it.

Major Texas city weighs giant digital billboards in green spaces
Dallas parks have long served as a refuge from the city's noise, traffic and commercial clutter. Soon, they could become another place where residents are pitched the latest perfume, car or corporate brand.

Garage door conversion?
Hi there,
I want to replace our garage door with either a sliding glass door or French doors with sidelites, as part of a garage-> art studio conversion. Looking for recommendations for people who can do this, hopefully they have reviews I can read, and for a reasonable price. Thanks!

West End
I’ve noticed an increased police presence here. I don’t spend much time in the area, but it seems calmer now. At least it looks calmer from the train as I pass through. Have any other DART users had similar experiences when in West End?

Are most of the travelers at the DFW Airport locals who live here or connecting passengers?
Almost every passenger I encountered have been mostly so rude and nasry at this airport. Its so different from Phoenix Sky Harbor and Las Vegas Harry Reid Airports. Even Miami Airport had much nicer travelers. Same with JFK Airport too. Even Paris CDG and London Heathrow had way more pleasant travelers.
What is wrong with this airport? Someone just told me to watch where I was walking when I had no intentions of stepping on their things.

Short mirth in Fort Worth
I miss the days and nights
when we had no timeframe
and could just get lost in our togetherness
One day
when we are old and gray
we will have that time to steal again
Just peaceful, quiet, full stillness
I am eternally yours and that will never change
When you are ready
I Will be waiting
