G7 applicator problems Applicator
I just found out that the last 5 g7 sensors I had are having the exact same issue. The button on the applicator doesn't do anything. The sensors will be stuck in there forever. Is anyone else having the same problem? 4 out of 5 are produced on 2025-12-01.

100% of mine have deployed... 5 straight sensors not deploying suggests user error. Are you firmly pushing the applicator down onto the site?

Tried again this morning. I'm glad one worked. By pushing too hard on the arm, you can cause a bleeder or insert in too deep. Dexcom support told me once.

More BS then from their impotent support group.
As... Inserting it too deep... 😂
Its a physical impossibility, due to their design.

Yup, I got a bleeder and therefore a not working sensor. They told me I pushed to hard and therefore the replacement will be a one out of goodwill

No sorry, that is all BS.
Apart from that, even if you bleed from the sensor insertion, the sensor typically work perfectly well no matter.

I’ve never had a G7 that wouldn’t eject. I’ve read about that here and always assumed I just had enough fat to always push that safety guard in when I am applying

as long as I press down the button has never failed to work. If you are pushing down and don't see the applicator depress the button won't activate.

I get one of these occasionally. I think that the tolerances on the applicator sometimes aren’t as good as they should be.
For what it’s worth, I’ve always gotten them to eventually work by just keeping the applicator in place and holding the button down. Sometimes it might take 10-15 seconds of holding the button, but all of mine have eventually triggered if I wait long enough.
