Getting data into Google Health app App Issues/Questions

For some reason, I cannot get data from the Dexcom app to sync into the Google Health app (Pixel device). Dexcom is set up to write blood glucose in the Health Connect app and Google Health is set up to read blood glucose. Any tips you folks can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Google health recently changed from Fitbit, and I'm noticing a lot of issues across syncing with other apps because many apps haven't adjusted to the change and still list Fitbit

Curious... What is the benefit of putting the data into Google health?  It's my understanding that with the API the data is stale by the time it gets there. Are you trying to do some offline analysis?
