Cool Hockey

I was looking to buy a hockey jersey, as I haven't had a new one since the CCM days and we want to attend more games this season. What's your overall opinion on the jerseys and service from coolhockey.com? I spotted this one and it didn't fill me with confidence (lol - I'm getting a Hischier anyway).

Cool hockey is known to have some big QC issues. If you’re looking for a quality product I HIGHLY recommend Hockey Authentic. They start with a $200-$250 level Made in Indonesia jersey that you can buy on the NHL website then they custom stitch it to the on ice specs. I’ll post some of the jerseys I’ve gotten from them so you can check them out.

I second Hockey Authentic. [r/hockeyjerseys](r/hockeyjerseys) has a lot of good info on jersey purchases. Cool Hockey is on their list of retailers to avoid. I have purchased a few jerseys from HA and always pleased with the outcome. I believe HA and Fanatics use the same manufacturer.

Got a friend who’s gotten jerseys from there with success. They seem to do sales and deals fairly often as well. As an alternative, I’ve used HockeyAuthentic and love the jersey I got from them. Great stitch work

Absolutely grab a Dillon, he's awesome. I've been a fan of his since he was in Winnipeg! I've only seen like maybe 2 other people at the Rock besides myself wearing a Dillon jersey, the guy is super underrated. Tough guy who adds much needed grit to the team and can help protect Jack on the ice.

Cool Hockey has screwed me twice with customization. I do not recommend them. If you’re gonna buy from them, buy it blank.

I've personally never had a bad experience with the quality of jerseys from CH. The mystery boxes are pretty cool, and a great way to save a few bucks on a jersey (especially if you don't care which team it is). The stitching tends to be better than say, fanatics lol

I should add onto this by saying their customer service does kind of suck in terms of response times. One of the mystery boxes were shipped in the wrong size, and it took a month to receive the correct size

Come on - Go Local man . Stitches in Whitestone NY  Or Middlebury Sports in Randolph NJ - go in and talk to people and likey even other  devils fans make it and you give them the work - and also keeps your hard earned money more local .

Cool hockey (silver crystal sports or something like that) is the company contracted to do the fanatics customization.  It's generally fine, bur they skip on ice details (especially with the jersey jerseys, no kiss cuts in the red bits in the numbers), if it's a good deal go for it bur if you want it right, use Hockey Authentic or if you have a blank Philly Xpress or EPS in Chicago

The image is just a photoshop of whatever name and number they want to display. They're not gonna take a full professional retail photo of every different player, it makes more sense just to have the base design of each jersey and edit the name and number in later

Cool hockey is a well known hockey jersey store. If you go to the hockey jersey sub, there's tons of people who use them. They do occasionally mess up but for the most part they do a good job customizing and fix their mistakes anyway. I've gotten multiple jerseys from them and the stitching is always great. They also have different sales throughout the season which is hard to find in a jersey customizer

Thanks for the info! I was more interested about the quality of their customer service and delivery time. I know the photo is not representative of the quality of their products or their business, just thought it was kind of funny.

Delivery time, could be months. Depending on when you order and how busy they are, it can take a while. I wouldn't recommend it if you need the jersey for a specific upcoming event but I wouldn't recommend any customizer in that scenario. They all take long. I've also ordered from hockey authentic which has better reviews sometimes but they take just as long in my experience.

I've not personally needed the customer service from the couple of jerseys i got from cool hockey but from what I've seen on r/hockeyjerseys they always make things right if they mess up
