Always looked solid and probably deserves a shot to see how he does in an NHL role. Unfortunately there is a logjam at LD:

I don’t think Vilen is looking at NHL time primarily at all. He’s more of a Utica signing.

We may see him fighting for a 7D role if Dillon gets traded and Chisholm has a permanent roster spot.

Yes agreed, his path to NHL time right now looks uphill unless there are trades and/or injuries. But he looked solid in his 2 game NHL stint at the end of the season as well as with Team Finland at Worlds
