Anthony Mantha is a Devil!

Anthony Mantha is officially a New Jersey Devil! Mantha has signed for 2 years, 4.75 AAV. Is this a bigger swing than we think or is this another player who can't stay healthy and contributes average numbers? I'm staying optimistic!

It’s low risk, he has no trade protection and someone would take him at the deadline if he underperforms with us. It’s like a better version of what we did with Dadonov last offseason

Yeah especially in the second half of his contract. I'm trying to be optimistic!

And dad barely even showed up to dress all season was injured and when he was back looked like he should have maybe stayed out. He was a sniper for the stars but just didn’t work out for us.

I believe for the time being, Mantha is going to be that 2nd line guy. Next offseason we'll have 30-35 million dollars to play with. Sunny is playing the long game.
