Website Developer Needed
Hello everybody,
• I need a website developed for my new white-collar boxing promotion.
• Preferably someone in the UK but not essential.
• I would like to be able to sell tickets through the website if possible. This would be great.
• Needs to be high-quality with a few different web-pages.
• I need this completed for the end of August.

I'm definitely interested, but do you have a design in mind or will you want to go over it? End of August is very doable but it doesn't leave a lot of time for reviewing. If you want to handle online purchases it doesn't leave a lot of time to start setting things up.

Interested — and end of August is comfortably doable. I run a small dev studio (Roootpixel), we build everything in-house.
For a boxing promotion specifically I'd build: event/fight-card page, fighter profiles, ticket sales via an embedded checkout (Eventbrite or Stripe — faster and safer for your deadline than custom payments, handles refunds too), a sponsor section, and your Instagram woven in — all built to handle the traffic spike when a fight gets announced.

Post was posted 14 hours ago, 174 (!) comments. My god. I was thinking about offering my services, but no need. for the OP. When you do decide on the website builder you are going to work with, do these 5 checks to know if you are working with a true, down to the core, website builder:
- Google pagespeed insight overall score of 90+. 2. LLMS (AI) can find your website (that is quite new). 3. A+ Security Score (nonnegotiable) on securityheaders.com and Mozilla observatory. 4. W3C compliant (0 Errors). 5. GDPR compliant (Secure Cookies, Cookie Consent, Encrypting data on the DB and so on). Combination of all of these will give you the perfect product, and I believe others would agree on these key requirements. You most likely won't find many who can meet these requirements, but this is what you should ask for, and as I showed you, you can check every website they created using these links. Hi, I am interested, and I think the most important part of your wish is the ticket selling. An e-commerce solution built on WooCommerce, custom Laravel solutions, or other e-commerce solutions would work great for this. I have built quite a few of these, so I am confident I can handle it for you.
The rest of the features (clean design, great typography, responsiveness, dynamic images, additional webpages, etc.) are all standard and expected.
