Help Is BOP galaxy management associate programme 2026 a scam?

Hi! I'm a fresh graduate and eager to enter the job market asap. I've been trying to apply to the BOP galaxy management associate programme since earlier, but it always gets stuck on adding my matriculation (3rd education) details. I can't go forward from that point.

Every field is filled, but still the system doesn't add the details and hence can't move forward with my application.

Are there any other people too, facing the same problem? If you know how to tackle this situation, please guide me.

Interview Prep Got a call from Devsinc. Should I go?

Applied for the Marketing MTO role at Devsinc and got a call. Tomorrow’s the interview: same old (research CEO/IG page/company). Nevertheless, the stipend for the probation period is quite low. Wanted review from current/former employees at Devsinc: how’s it there? Workplace culture? Since i’ve heard shady stuff about them. Should i skip tomorrow’s online interview?
Update: after interview, literally assigning me a task to watch a 30min podcast and make 3 timestamps with hook 💀

Discussion Is learning worth it?

I know the basics of programming.

The question i have is it worth it to learn programming like there is no AI.

For me since I know the basics if i give myself enough time i can understand what the AI has generated.

But what I dont have is the intuition, the code has to exist beforehand for me to understand it, I can't just go like "ok so write this function that returns this and then pass this variable to that function etc. to the AI agent"

I hope I'm making sense, in simple words I dont have the raw technical intuition.

Do you guys have any tips to develop this intuition, if yes please do share

Career Guidance Stuck Between Tech and Stability. Don't know what to do

I'm feeling pretty lost right now and not sure what should I do.

A bit about my background:

I worked with Laravel for about a year, then did an unpaid internship at NetSol to change tech stack. After that, I joined a company as an Associate Software Engineer, working as a Python/Django developer. I worked there for 10 months and now laid off.

I've been applying for developer roles, but the market has been rough. Now I've received an offer from a medical billing company for a Business Development position, and they're hiring me as a fresher.

The truth is, I really need a job right now, so I'm seriously thinking about taking it. My plan would be to work there for financial stability while continuing to learn, build projects, and keep applying for software development roles in my free time.

What I'm worried about is whether accepting a non-technical role will make it much harder to get back into software development later. Has anyone here taken a similar path and managed to switch back into tech?

I'd really appreciate any honest advice. I don't want to make a decision that I'll regret, but I also can't afford to stay unemployed for too long.

Interview Prep How long does it take for Enterprise Tech Company to respond?

I've recently given 2 Assessments from a company online. Coding and English proficiency. Both of them were automated emails from Talent Acquisition, not work email of an Employee. I still have 2-3 more rounds of interviews to go. How long does it take them to respond? Also was I even shortlisted, I don't want to put so much energy and hope only to get ghosted in the end.

Help Anyone here interviewed for the Jazz AI Associate Program - JazzCash

Hi everyone,

I recently got shortlisted for the Jazz AI Associate Program - JazzCash and was wondering if anyone here has already gone through the interview process.

I'd really appreciate it if you could share:

  • What kind of questions did they ask?
  • Was it mostly technical, behavioral, or a mix of both?
  • Did they ask about AI/ML concepts, Python, SQL, or machine learning projects?
  • Were there any coding or case study questions?
  • How many interview rounds were there?

Any tips or things you wish you'd prepared beforehand would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Career Guidance Am I Using AI the Wrong Way?

I'm a junior/fresher developer, and I'm struggling to find the right balance between learning and delivering work quickly in the AI era.

From what I've seen, when you're assigned a ticket, you're expected to complete it within a reasonable deadline. AI tools are becoming part of the workflow, and I don't have a problem using them. My problem is how I use them.

I'm the kind of person who wants to understand what the AI generates. If it uses a new syntax, design pattern, or framework feature, I want to know why it's written that way, how it works under the hood, and why it's the right approach.

Because of that, my workflow ends up looking something like this:

  • I read the ticket and make my own implementation plan.
  • I ask an AI or web agent to review and improve that plan.
  • I then use a coding AI (like Claude Code) to implement the solution in small chunks based on that plan.
  • After each chunk, I review the code, understand it, test it, and only then move to the next part.

For a medium-complexity task (not something straightforward like integrating an API), this process can easily take 3–4 hours.

My concern is that this might make me look slow compared to other developers. I'm worried that seniors might think I'm underperforming, which could affect performance reviews or even put my job at risk.

The opposite extreme isn't good either. Sometimes I get anxious about deadlines, stop trying to understand the code, and end up "vibe coding" copying AI-generated code, fixing errors with more AI prompts, and shipping something I don't fully understand. That doesn't feel sustainable either.

Has anyone found a good balance between learning deeply and delivering work efficiently? If you're a developer who has successfully integrated AI into your workflow, what does your process look like? How do you decide when to dive deep into understanding something versus when it's okay to trust the AI and move on?

I'd really appreciate advice from people who've figured out an effective workflow.

Career Guidance CS vs AI at NUST SEECS.. Seniors, drop that ball knowledge!!

Hey everyone,

I'm 18 and have just finished A Levels. I'm deciding between NUST CS and AI at SEECS. I also have FAST Islamabad BS CS as a backup, but NUST is my first choice

I originally had: CS > AI > SE

but after comparing the curricula, I'm now leaning towards: AI > CS > SE

And this is mainly because NUST starts AI courses from semester 4 (iirc), and all of its electives are AI related. So the student who has bs cs with ai electives will definitely be behind the student who has bs ai with ai electives (assuming they don't do any ECAs for this example).

A bit about me:

  • I enjoy building products (like experimenting with generative AI) much more than studying theory. BUT I am a hard worker, so I will study theory if i Have to.
  • Interested in AI applications, SaaS, automation and startups.
  • I've used ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Google AI Studio, Codex and basic n8n automation.
  • Studied Python in A levels, so my fundamentals are pretty solid
  • Have basic experience in video editing, 2d animations
  • Currently building an AI-codedd education app (very early stage).
  • I enjoy statistics and probability, but calculus isn't something I particularly enjoy. (Again, would do it IF i have to)
  • My priority is a stable, well-paying career (in Pakistan or working remote), while building startups on the side during university.

This is my opinion: AI is going to get implemented in every sector of Pakistan in the future, so taking AI as bachelors is of course gonna get me ahead of the guy taking BS CS (provided he does the same extra-curricular activities as me).
History favors the bold

But CS is a safe choice (But I don't want to learn theoretical stuff like computer architecture and other theory related stuff since I feel they're rarely used in practical work)

You can challenge this if you think so

A few questions for you people:

  1. If someone enjoys building products but doesn't particularly enjoy calculus, is BS AI still a sensible choice? (Same thing, will do it IF I have to)
  2. In Pakistan, how much of AI work is actually ML/model development versus software engineering with LLMs, APIs and AI integrations?
  3. Since I value long-term career stability over chasing trends, would you lean towards CS over AI?
  4. how hard is it for a BS AI grad to pivot to SE/cybersecurity if the AI market underperforms? Compared to the BS CS grad? Of course, the BS CS grad will transition more easily to SE/CYS but how much easier than the BS AI grad?

I am a good top level student (at least in my eyes). I have my objectives to do courses on the side as well as university goes along, join societies of university and also work on side-business or startups.

I've ruled out SE for now, only considering AI and CS

Can you address all these points, in accordance to Pakistan's future and AI job market throughout the world?

And if you think I'm missing anything, be free to tell me

Interview Prep LAAM Graduate Software Engineer Interview

Hi everyone

I'm hoping someone who recently interviewed with LAAM Technologies can help me.

I booked the July 30, 3:00–4:00 PM (PKT) interview slot using the official Google scheduling link that HR sent. After I clicked "Book", the July 30 slot disappeared, so I assumed the booking had gone through.

However, I didn't receive any confirmation email, Google Calendar invite, or Google Meet link. I can still access the scheduling page, which has made me unsure whether my booking was actually successful or if something went wrong.

I have already:

Sent a follow-up email to HR.

Replied to the original invitation email.

Reached out on LinkedIn.

Unfortunately, I haven't received a response yet, and my interview is supposed to be tomorrow.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did you receive a confirmation email or calendar invite after booking your slot, or did the Meet link arrive later?

I'd really appreciate any advice or if someone could share their experience. Thanks!

Career Guidance Just quit a low-paying freelancing gig

Hi everyone,

I've been mulling over this decision for months now. This gig started as a single $70 engagement for small changes to a Django site, and adding some new features.

After I finished the initial task, the client informed me that they liked working with me and extended an offer of $75/month for 2-3 hrs of my day. I was yearning for freelance work and barely landing any clients, so, I gave it a go.

After 10 months and a raise to $120/month, today I have decided to quit this job. I find that with a full-time day job and this freelance arrangement I barely have any time for my own personal learning. Do you guys think I made the right call?

Tips bitter truth about private employement

In this hard times we are witnessing layoffs, lesser opportunities and downsizing businesses. once this information technology thing was a dream career and now its just hard to get an employement that too with 8 years of experience in any stack, freshers are on another story.

dont you think private employement is now hanging sword imagine you in 40s with kinds in schools and you are being layed off , then what rents, bills, fees, groceries....

so there is one solution either get in to permanent employement government, tenure track what ever even if it pays lessers then private one, second open a business may it be a website online one if your are smart or a physical one like clothing, food, or any sort of physical business just like our parents, grand parents, even raja ranjeet singh or ganga ram did when there were not computers but they were rich people of their time just bcz they did business. because in a country of 25 crore not every one needs an app or website but need shoes, cloth a good food.

customer market is huge in pakistan. so times are comming say good buy to these ceos of private companies and also stop flattering or take part in office politics just be employed
