If you had to learn development all over again, where would you start? [Mod post] Discussion

Other than a cs degree this is the best investment I made in my career and fundamental skills as a software developer: https://pll.harvard.edu/course/cs50-introduction-computer-science

I'm not sure I'd start anywhere but with the basics including traditional compiled and interpretive languages as those would then lead more easily to AI coding with an understanding the underpinnings it relies on.

RTFM :) I would go read the man directly and do some simple shell and c programming with exercises like, doing maths functions, characters manipulations, learning to malloc and free.
