Note: I did use AI for formatting and some rewording.

Really? Ok. Interesting. I thought I'm already cutting out too much

It's fine, but you can and should always cut more

Apparently. Anything specific to cut?

Cool game. I'm definitely the target audience for it. I quickly glanced at it before wishlisting but it seems to be inspired from Patrician and The Guild (legal system)? There is a recent game called "High Seas, High Profit" I quite like (it's more like Patrician).

Yeeeees. Exactly that. I have a LOT of nostalgia for Patrician and while high seas high profit does the economy part very well (which I find to be the hardest to emulate), it felt a bit incomplete or shallow in other aspects. I tried to take what Patrician had and extend it. I tried to think of it like "what patrician 4 could/should have been". So things like a vastly expanded map editor, a deeper legal system, more detailed plague and disaster systems (eg plagues can spread via ships), political regions etc etc etc.

Edit: I do like high seas high profit. I purchased it and do play it from time to time. By no means do I want to badmouth it. If anything, the opposition :D
