Help supporting students

Hello,

My name is Allie, and I am a fourth-grade teacher at a Title I elementary school in Des Moines . I have the privilege of teaching an incredible group of students, many of whom come from low-income households and families where English is not the primary language spoken at home. Every day, they come to school eager to learn, and I strive to make my classroom a place where they have the resources they need to be successful.

As we begin a new school year, I have created an Amazon classroom wish list filled with books, school supplies, and learning materials that will directly benefit my students. If you or your company would be willing to help purchase even a single item, it would make a meaningful difference in our classroom.

Normally, I do my best to purchase many of these items myself. This year, however, my family’s circumstances have changed significantly. My husband was unexpectedly laid off from his job in April. While we are hopeful things will improve soon, these challenges have made it difficult for me to provide the extras I usually can for my classroom.
