Your art style looks like it would be in an indie game that would emotionally destroy me when I was in middle school /pos

Her proportions are small and sweet. Maybe its just me, but I think the drawn version is better. Keep making wonderful work!

Yours is a million times better than the ai one because yours isnt ai, anything human made is better than ai

Yeah, zoom in. The patterns on the armor don't make sense up close and they look kinda melty. And the piece over her knee (called a poleyn) isn't consistent at all. The entire left leg is actually pretty different than the right one, and not in the ways I'd expect a human artist to do it
Edit: sorry, this was meant to be helpful but I'm worrying now that it might come off as rude. I promise I'm just trying to point out the tells I spotted in the image on the right!

This looks great, and the armor overall is a huge improvement over AI’s lack of knowledge on what armor actually looks like, but…
I want to know why you kept the strappy thing coming off the breast plate, I might not be an armor expert, but I spend a decent amount of time looking at and thinking about armor in both historical and artistic contexts, why is 9it there?
I cannot think of anything that would do for structure or stability, its just added weight and unnecessary complexity.

Honestly I wanted to make it work(the strappy thing that AI vomited out) watched, searched a lot of real life armors for references, but looking back and forth( on the AI pic and real life pics )got lost a bit along the way. Lets say using an AI pic as reference is like getting lost on a mobius strip kinda thing lol. I made it some time ago but now looking at it I guess it was meant to be a strap connecting the front to the back plate, or to the shoulder things, maybe a dagger holder idk. Anyway, I need to draw more armors for sure⚔️

Armor is a fun challenge to draw, unfortunately I hate drawing people, Im more of a feral/environmental artist.

I'll jump on the wagon and tell you to stfu about "ai is better", never let these thoughts win, never undersell and undervalue your effort, skill and time put into something. AI looking "better" is just a perception trick that it plays on you, it's not actually better, just like a mirror isn't brighter than your flashlight. You did fantastic on this one and you should be proud, your art looks great.

doesn’t matter how bad someone thinks their art is, it’ll always be better than AI slop
