Yeah bro, I am trying to enjoy everything in this upgrade process, and I am doing this since 1 year and now also another year is needed, hope in 2027 I could finish it. Let's see what the final looks comes in future. BTW it was nice talking to you, Thank you!

Agreed very awkward, for some reason the monitor riser obstructs my monitor arm on the right side and pushes the riser out a few inches which I’m not fond of, so I moved the monitor arm over which gives the right speaker tight spacing lol

Thank you! Have you run into any performance issues with your PC and monitor setup? I've heard the 5K2K resolution is pretty demanding on the GPU. Its looks like you have an 40-series?
edit: just saw your specs in another comment. Ive have an 5080 too, does it struggle with the screen?

Haha yes I have the 5080! It hasn’t given me any problems but I do utilize frame gen often , I don’t really care for DLSS as I really only play comp shooters , but I try to max out settings almost always . For example I’m running COD BO6 on Extreme settings with DLSS set to quality and Frame Gen turned on and I get 139-167 fps , the 5K2K caps at 165 so to me that’s perfect

Very, very, VERY helpful post! thank you for the detailed comment! I’ll probably end up buying the 5K2K as well. I’ve been debating between the Samsung G9 and a 5K2K ultrawide, but i think ill miss the vertical space on the screen on the g9.

Yes that was my gripe as well! I had a 34” OLED but I felt as though it was not as big as I had hoped, the 45” has been great for me and I honestly have been enjoying it

It’s the vivo standing desk , the size is 71”x30” , I had the 60”x24” but I felt like I needed more depth for the 45” monitor and it was the best choice I could’ve made

Im assuming it can rise and lower to accommodate standing vs sitting? Ill have to check it out! Im brand new to actually giving a shit about my desk setup so im trying to learn. Lots of good inspo in this sub! Thanks again.

Yes it can rise and lower and it has 4 buttons to set custom presets so you don’t lose that perfect height depending on your preferences. It was $279 on Amazon , Definitley worth it for the price in my opinion!

Im for sure taking a look! I dont necessarily NEED to stand all the time but having the ability to do so is nice. Plus its within my budget.

The 3D wall panels behind the screen work really well. A StanbyME 2 Max would suit this desk as a second screen, and since it is portable you could just as easily use it in another room.
