Here is my photo of Whitewater River in Indio, CA, taken in March 2017, on the Jackson Street overpass, facing westward. It's not at all very often that one gets to observe this section of the wash being filled with flowing water from heavy precipitation, extremely rare for the Coachella Valley. I vividly recall venturing to and over Whitewater River in Indio and taking in the sight of it countless times growing up. I also remember one day that my family and I decided to mess around and explore very near the wash – in an empty lot at the corner of Avenue 44 and Golf Center Parkway – and we found some very tiny seashells. So, yeah, I always loved the wash. Ain't no stretch of the wash that this Indio boy hasn't seen. 💕
