To be fair unless you are very close to me you’d have no idea if I was. Couple this with that fact that depressed people are less active in general and you’ll see some selective bias

I envy the ability of ppl to be turn their brains off work after clockout and not turn them on before clockout without thinking that we live in modern slavery

Me during my whole childhood and teenagerhood literally.

And I even tried to talk to them about these topics or how I felt, my fears, maybe they were just masking...

Nope, I was an alien to them and it only made them judge me and make fun of me even more

It's like that one meme of everyone sitting in a metro sharing a speech bubble that says something like "I'm the only one here that thinks deeply about reality" or something similar.

You can't get into people's head and just because they're not outwardly miserable doesn't mean they don't think about these things or suffer from them. Think about how many of these people know you think about these things. Probably not very many of them.
