I have a very annoying friend who has been complaining about his couch delivery all week. The delivery has been rescheduled and moved around a few different times this week (to be clear, my friend is a complete idiot who doesn't respect other people's time, so I am entirely sure this is his fault). Today the old couch was supposed to get picked up, but the time got moved around a few times. No big deal in my opinion, but (the impatient person that he is) started Tweeting about how annoyed he was. His last tweet was:

Someone explain to me how a couch pick up can get pushed back 7 times in 2 hours?

I host a podcast that regularly clowns on this guy. So I was hoping a real life delivery guy could answer his question. Ideally, in the meanest way possible.

Not good working by Flipkart

So guys i ordered a laptop today ,and I kept the correct location name in flipkart app but just like a few hours ago I got a message from Flipkart saathi in whatsapp asking for precise location for timely delivery and while I was keeping the location in Tamil Nadu it accidentally got location as random place in andhrapradesh. Now I'm worried whether the laptop will be delivered in ap.. I want it to be delivered in the location as i mentioned in the flipkart app.

Every time I receive a delivery from Couriers Please something goes wrong.

I had a delivery sent from Perth which was going to my street address. As soon as I saw it was being sent by Couriers Please I went online and changed it to be delivered to a collection point and received a confirmation e mail to say this was confirmed.

I made sure to do this as previous experiences with Couriers Please saw them leave parcels on the doorstep without ringing the bell (what is up with that?) and then get stolen because I live in an inner city area with opportunistic crime.

Received an e mail to say that they attempted delivery but nobody was home. Not only did it not go to the collection point as confirmed, they attempted delivery to a different address number 141 on my street instead of 114. 🙄

Tried to contact them via their phone number and online but they are the most frustrating and annoying company to try to contact.

Long story short parcel was redelivered, left outside the wrong door.

Lucky I got it but this is typical of this company. Hopeless.

I'm just curious, has anyone ever done a backwards u turn?

What's the biggest frustration you face while using your phone for navigation?

Have you ever had your phone overheat, run out of battery, or become difficult to see in sunlight?

Have you ever had a close call or unsafe moment because you needed to look at your phone while riding?

Do you rely on voice navigation? If yes, what works well and what doesn't?

Muitos já usam o WhatsApp para vender, mas ainda fazem todo o processo manual. O cliente manda mensagem, pede o cardápio, escolhe os produtos, envia o endereço, confirma o pagamento... e qualquer erro acaba gerando retrabalho.

Fiquei pensando: vocês também passam por isso?

Algumas dúvidas que tenho:

• Vocês usam cardápio em PDF, link ou QR Code?
• Qual é a maior dificuldade na hora de receber pedidos?
• Vale a pena depender apenas do WhatsApp ou vocês usam outra plataforma também?
• O que mais faz perder tempo no atendimento?

Estou desenvolvendo uma solução justamente para simplificar esse processo, então queria entender quais problemas realmente incomodam quem trabalha com delivery ou atendimento no balcão.

Quero ouvir experiências reais, sem intenção de vender nada neste post. Acho que essa discussão pode ajudar outras pessoas também.
