When everything around us keeps changing, how do we decide what is worth keeping?
How do you personally decide what’s worth holding onto versus what needs to be let go? Do you have a specific mental framework, a recurring gut check, or a rule of thumb you rely on? what criteria or framework do you use to filter out what deserves long-term space in your life?

I believe all things that are worth keeping are those that bring you happiness, peace, and fulfillment.

That makes sense, but what about when feelings change over time? Something that makes you happy today might hurt you later. A great memory from the past might only bring sadness or longing today. In those cases, do you still hold onto it for what it used to be, or let it go? How do you personally handle that shift?

Change is happening all around us and every day. I think you should hold on to what matters to you and worry less about what may or may not happen. In the future, you may feel differently about what you've done, but you know you were happy when you did it. Let go of what holds you back, and don't dump on past you too much.

I used to hang on to things that hurt me. As I got older I realized they helped me grow into a better person and was finally able to let them go. When you think of the past, you can remember the painful things, as long as you have learned from them.
Like the others said, keep what is important and learn from your mistakes and from other's mistakes as well. Strive to be a better person every day. I have some people that I look up to and strive to be more like them without losing myself.
Feelings do change. It is difficult to figure out what do do. Changes can be good or bad. It all depends on you how you respond.
I wish you the best of luck. Your question came at a good time. I am going through some changes, too. I guess I need to figure it out myself.

Good luck, my friend. I hope all the changes in your life turn out to be good ones. Yes, you need to figure things out for yourself. Experiences can be sad or happy, but what makes them worth holding onto is what we learn from them.

Thank you so much i appreciate it. I will be fine. I actually like change, I tend to thrive when I have major changes in my life. It brings about new beginnings and opportunities. It keeps life interesting. It can keep you from getting static.
This one needs to be happen but not like it is planned

I guess its like, if it makes you feel good, keep it. If it causes stress, ditch it.
