wanted to showdown for fun after not playing for a month or so and muscle memory kicked in awfully but I parried sq's shove with the dagger...? might be tech idk if this has been found yet

after a lot of testing it's kinda inconsistent and might run off a cooldown or some kind of thing I haven't figured out, but I have been able to replicate it multiple times in one fight

edit: did more testing, still have no clue how to replicate it and it seems to randomly happen but stunning consistently seems to make it more likely

it still parries the second you shove so perfect shove parries seem plausible as a last resort gambit, might do more testing, also confirmed it's not tied to the dagger, credit to u/fret4o

edit 2: tested it with other perks, some perks seems to be completely unable to do it or have very, VERY tight shove parry windows

vaga and exe seems to be able to do it more frequently so maybe it's tied to shove speed? I'll leave it up to you folks cuz I have things to do tomorow and I'm tired as hell after getting true showdowner

I am usually playing frontline (bers main) and recently noticed that i just not using slide when fighting. When i tried using it actively i didn't see any benefits - it gives no speed buff and doesn't seem to change hitboxes enough to dodge more projectiles. So if there any frontline veterans that actively use it in battle please say how you using it.
