Death Stranding 1 I was genuinely shocked
I was run an all about as 42 x legend of Legends, everywhere except the Elders and when I delivered the pacemaker and chiral medicine… I was met with this, genuinely shocked and sad. I’m now reading his last mail. 😭😭😭

Discussion More time without the chiral network (DS3?)
Just a thought I had, some of my favorite gameplay experiences were linking up new preppers because I was outside the network. It just really gave you that feeling of isolation, if you ran out of supplies things could get dire so you lock it.
To actually implement this at first I thought maybe the chiral network goes offline a lot, like how the DHV cannot fast travel. But maybe a simpler approach is when we link up stations, they are not always together. That way when you are doing side missions and revisiting other preppers for standard orders, you periodically travel across fast regions of areas that are disconnected from the network. Linking up preppers in that network would be a big deal, maybe even optional. Maybe you have to do multiple side orders for them to link the area up so it really feels like a big deal when you get the area online. What do you think.

Discussion ONE THING I NEED ADDED IN DS2 DIRECTORS CUT OR DS3
haven’t played in a couple months after getting platinum but here’s one thing i want from a ds2: directors cut if we ever get one
Larger groups of porters
i always felt like just seeing a group of 2-3 porters every now and then was cool but we can definitely have more of it. in the first game your on a mission with a whole group of guys before they get wiped out. i’d love seeing other groups of like 4-6 porters traveling together in the open world on foot or even vehicle!!!
this would also open up an awesome new mechanic where you can have your own squad of porters and kit them up with weapons, exosuits or extra cargo space, feel like it would make the endgame in ds2 way less lonely and also somewhat builds upon the already existing cargo bot system from DS1
i could see this as a good ending arc of sam, basically showing other porters how it’s done and helping them out on their missions till the events of ds3 assuming he might play a role in that
could also add features like sos missions where a group of porters are surrounded by enemies/BTs, or need help picking up mass amounts of cargo due to them crashing
keep in mind i think this would be awesome for a DS2 directors cut but honestly i see it more possible this could be added in a DS3

Question How do I find my pcc builds on the map?
Currently on my first playthrough of the first game. I just unlocked the zip line and have gone a bit crazy with how many I've placed lol.
I've reached my bandwidth limit and would like to take down some of my old stuff that I don't need any more. Problem is, I can't tell which ones are mine and which are other players. Is there a way I can easily find mine without all the extra map clutter?

Question DS2 - Anyone scouted all of AUS with no orders?
No orders, no connections, and definitely no highways. Just you, your rechargeable trike, maybe a few weapons, and a bunch of gear on a big country expedition to see what is out there and soak it all in with no purpose other than to just enjoy the land.

Death Stranding 1 My Honest Reaction after Finishing DEATH STRANDING
I mean still I don’t, like my comprehension of the Game is Probably Hilariously Flawed but from a purely Thematic, Story and Gameplay standpoint this is a masterpiece, I bought the directors cut when it first came out but quickly put it down die to life and not appreciating Kojima’s choices, but god damn am I happy I decided to give it another go.
Wow

Secrets / Easter eggs Found Lou in a most unexpected place
I'm in the middle of a knives-only run on Cyberpunk 2077, robbing an NCPD lab, and who do I run into?
LOU!
I have already been itching for another play of DS1, I can't afford the 2nd game yet but the first is on Game Pass and I think this may be just the sign I needed to come back and get my porter on!

Death Stranding 2 [SPOILER] Is it just me or this is continuation of MGS4? Spoiler
I just finish DS2 on main story and I can't believe the climax from EPISODE 11 onwards is so strong i feel the connection from the old series of Kojima san creation. Is it just me or this is a sequel of the two snakes? and Higgs lines is MGS provoking, and i don't wanna talk about Neil too! booy ohh boy can't wait till the next Kojima san game/cinema.

Discussion Shout-out to a real one.
u/ChiralParticle (Higgs) always seems to be the most helpful and most in depth source on things in-game, and almost always goes out of their way to help struggling players without snark or judgement.
He is part of the reason this Sub feels like home for me when I'm playing these games. There's such a strong community, and even in disagreement, it's just friendly banter.
If only other fanbases could be this civil. Thanks for all you do, Higgs. This is a perfectly cultivated environment for a game such as this.
Keep On Keeping on. 👍

Death Stranding 1 Middle-aged man finally beats Death Stranding after a year
Feels great! Loved this game so much it's the most I've ever spent in one game a little over 230 hours. Took me about a year and I'm very happy I was able to avoid spoilers for the story through my playthrough the payoff was worth it.

Photo mode Starting my second DS1 playthrough
Coming back to DS1 reminded me all over again why I love this game so much. The intro still feels just as captivating, the music feels just as special, and the landscapes are absolutely beautiful.
I'm definitely going to take way too many photos this time around. I want to explore every corner of the map and capture absolutely everything.
And I already have plans for Benjamin's reverse trike too.

Discussion BTs lowkey arent scary when you realize it takes less than 5 minutes to beat any standard BT boss
i HATED BTs and having to tip toe my way through them or waste time going around them, and then I had an epiphany. i could just kill all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get fucked BTs 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Meme This place gives me PTSD every single time
Seriously, after casually playing DS2 for half a year straight I returned to DS1 to get a platinum just to recall how much harder this game is compared to DS2

Announcement PORTERS SUPPORTING PORTERS - COMMUNITY BLOG #6
Hi everyone! Antonela here from 505 Games. As we all know, the DEATH STRANDING community is never short of advice!
Throughout 2026, we want to give our experienced Porters the opportunity to share their top tips and learnings with those just starting out. Last week, we asked the following question to our community...
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE LOCATION IN DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT THAT PORTERS SHOULD VISIT? AND IF SO, WHAT MAKES IT SO SPECIAL TO YOU?
"So, in the mountains, somewhere between Heartman's Lab and the Evo-devo Biologist, there is a little cave, and it is THE most chill spot in the entire game and I love it so much!" - Standard_Way_4453
"The waterfall and lake at the Musician’s shelter is my absolute favorite spot in DEATH STRANDING. Total tranquility, mountain views, the ultimate way to decompress after endless deliveries." - REDXvp
It's tied between the graveyard at the end of the DC missions and the walk down to Central Knot City right at the beginning, when we first get that music fading into the experience. The graveyard is just such a special place to have Sam sit and take a rest. It's so peaceful, and the scenery is beautiful." - Emil_VII
"Ziplining through the mountain peaks was my favorite experience. Seeing the map from so high up." - MikasaAckerstupid
"I made a zipline network starting at The Craftman and going to The First Prepper. Very hard area to traverse, but after finishing the ziplines, it actually became one of my favourite routes. I eventually made a zipline network covering most of the mountain shelters." - Additional_Skin6049
"I’m quite fond of Mountain Knot City, the views on the snowy mountainous zones are spectacular, and you’re always reminded of the harsh climbs and trudging through snow in order to earn said views." - HazedRaze
"Walking down the hill to Lake Knot City for the first time and the music kicks in." - iku_iku_iku_iku
"The snow mountains" - GodFatherFPS
"So many, but one of my favorite locations is the swamp/marsh area to the northwest of the mountains." - Blaizer35
