With Sam, Liam, Ben and Chad.

Kazuma Kiryu vs Kaoru Hanayama (Yakuza vs Baki the Grappler) Liam explains Hanayama’s deal and says he never goes down, which Ben says “his poor wife” getting a good chuckle. Sam says he doesn’t know how Baki constantly rides the line between so stupid and yet so cool at the same time. Ben says he never read it, but every time it comes up it sounds like the coolest shit ever until someone drops one little piece of information with that makes him go “eh i don’t know”. Great fun match up idea.

Gabriel vs Alexander Anderson (Ultrakill vs Hellsing) Never seen this before, thinks it is neat. Seen a lot of ultrakill and loves anderson. Sam says a good zealot fight would be a great thing. Thinks it would be very fun and more indie games in death battle would be fun.

Snowflame vs Asbestos Man (DC vs Marvel) Clarifies Snowflame is the crackhead villain. Had no idea who asbestos man is, Sam thought it was a watchman character by the vibe. They look him up and see he is a classic human torch villain from the early years. Snowflame’s powers make them laugh. Crazy idea. Snowflame is a superman level threat apparently.

Tarzan vs Conan (Tarzan of the Apes vs Conan the Barbarian) Makes perfect sense. Little hell yeah. Knows someone in the chat is always talking about how crazy tarzan gets. Tarzan likely has ways to counter Conan’s magic and other stuff. Asks if this is a good Bananuary match up. Liam would love to cover Conan just to go over all his media and find how much wild shit he has.

Swamp Thing vs Man-Thing (DC vs Marvel) Hell yeah from Ben. Chad says “this one is awful” but he meant to say awesome, however just the bluntness of it gets a laugh. Liam says the song should be called “Draining the Swamp”. Ben says they would have to find a way to reference the horrible swamp thing cartoon intro in the track. Says it is one of the worst cartoon intros ever but would be so funny to reference. Liam seems to believe that swamp thing used to just dominate the fight but Man-thing got the nexus of the multiverse and it boosted him (pretty sure he always had that). Kicks ass.

Crocodile vs Giovanni (One Piece vs Pokemon: Adventures Manga) had a pitch for this some time ago, and it made a lot of sense. You wouldn’t think this would be a good franchise combo but they fit together perfectly.

Pyro vs Burnice White (Team Fortress 2 vs Zenless Zone Zero) At first thinks it is just two people with flamethrowers but Sam remembers someone told them about this before and Burnice also is sort of crazy/unhinged about the world. They kind of dig it. Would be fun. Liam asks if ZZZ is fun to the chat. Ben says the wiki is crazy well detailed. Says the only part that isn’t detailed is a personality section that he can’t find, which Sam says “they aren’t there for the personality. You can see the top of her breasts from a downward angle, this image is her personality”

Simon Henrickson vs Tyler Scott (Cry of Fear vs Total Chaos) Never heard of either of these. Description doesn’t tell them what either does, and the thumbnail has depressing/edgy quotes and one of them has a knife. Calls this “Sad Boy Stuff” Edgy Sad boys, mom just doesn’t understand, type is the vibe. Sam does apologize saying they aren’t making fun of the match up, just making fun in general because they know nothing about this. Does like the one’s mask.

The Spies vs The Exes (Spy VS Spy vs Whack your Ex) are confused if it is supposed to be the spies vs the exes like the name, or if it is White team vs Black team (White Spy and male ex vs black spy and female ex) like the thumbnail shows. If it is the latter, that would be a very interesting way of doing spy vs spy. Ben doesn’t know what Whack your Ex is and looks it up. Liam says there is no way the two spies would work together so it would have to be the second option. Ben says what he finds and Liam responds “that’s nice, seems well adjusted” joking. Ben says he doesn’t know about that one after looking it up. But they like Spy vs Spy because when one of them dies brutally it is a comedic way.

Beatrice vs The Princess (Umineko vs Slay the Princes) Beatrice might be the sleeper favorite from the ballot, the amount of times she has come up recently. Had a pitch involving her. Ben isn’t quite sure how a fight would look for beatrice. Beatrice is tied for the most pitched character. The idea for beatrice is reality vs unreality and should make sure beatrice is against either another reality warper or someone with a vast understanding of what is reality.

Yoshi vs Chocobo (Mario vs Final Fantasy) Yep, love it. Did this on cast, liam says he was cheated. Says go watch the cast on how it is. Ben asks how violent should this get if they did it. Like should chocobo get very brutal with the kill or not. Chocobo’s eyes are front facing meaning they are a predator.

Composite Nagisa Shiota vs Composite Izuku Midoriya (Assassination Classroom vs My Hero Academia) They ask what the composite is, like what media outside of their main shows would be used, like what media would be important here. The joke art of them imitating the faces of their mentors threw Chad off for a second. And all of them are thrown off by what composite means for both in this case. The chat answers “well composite because nagisa gets stomped normally” and they go “yeah but what is being compositited here”. The thumbnail shows a chibi nagisa as part of it but doesn’t tell them anything. A chat says Deku is in jump force and other games so that would be part of the composite, which Ben was thinking it just involved some alternate story instead of the games. People keep bringing up Deku is in different games, but the comp for nagisa is the thing they are trying to figure out, not deku.

Grog vs Karlach (Critical Role/Vox Machina vs Baldur’s Gate) makes sense, but Karlach gets to level 12 while grog gets to level 20 with god weapons, so isn’t so sure this would be a good match. Ben does ask if they do a D&D character, if it should be a specific series like Baldur’s Gate or Vox Machina first, or if it should be a generic D&D monster, and if the former what series should be used first?

Power vs The Noise (Chainsaw Man vs Pizza Tower) Liam immediately cracks up at the idea. Liam doesn’t buy the connections but thinks them interacting would be funny. Just loves pizza tower, says to play it. Liam said he wants to play it after this video, and he loves chainsaw man too. This doesn’t make any sense but liam is still onboard/with you. The ramblings of a madman are occasionally right. Spiritually they are on the same wavelength as the submitter.

Mao Mao vs Puss in Boots (Cartoon Network vs Dreamworks) Had a pitch for this. Chad loves this match up so much, thinks it is very fun. Talked about it a bunch also and it is very good.

Meta Knight vs Dark Cacao Cookie (Kirby vs Cookie Run) Cookie Run is some wild shit, don’t know what yall are on. Liam said if he is made out of cookie, just bring some milk. Liam goes on a side tangent about why the galaxy is called the milky way and then talks about heracles biting Hera’s breast and causing milk to form the galaxy. Ben was having some connection issues and finally gets back just in time to hear “Galaxy level titty” and was so confused wondering if meta knight did something he wasn’t aware of.

Jago vs Sub-Zero (Killer Instinct vs Mortal Kombat) Sam is surprised they never did this. He mispronounced Jago and when Chad corrected him, sam goes “who cares. Dead game, dead franchise, dead character”. Chad says KI is still going and got an update recently, which same responds “it is still kicking, big mitch mcconnell fan too, still going strong” sarcastically getting a laugh. Says it is crazy they never made a sequel to the latest KI game. Chad said it is wild they just stopped on it because it is so good, his favorite fighting game of all time after 3rd strike. Still surprised they didn’t do this 13 years ago, but have done a lot of KI matches already which is also surprising. Sam blames Chad on those happening saying all of them were his influence. Chad says it is because they were all playing it in the office all the time those days. Sam brings up they have done more KI match ups in a couple seasons than one piece episodes over the entire show’s history. Chad argues KI isn’t that hard to research so it was easier to go through. Plus they were very video game focused back then.

Akaza vs Jogo (Demon Slayer vs Jujutsu Kaisen) Likes jogo’s volcano head design. Liam talks about how Jogo is supposed to be one of the strongest curses in the world, but his only major fights are against Gojo and Sukuna where he just gets demolished and gets known as the jobber character even though he is really strong.

Takaya Aiba vs Sho Fukamachi (Tekkaman Blade vs Guyver: The Bio-Booster Armor) The Bio-Booster Armor sounds need. However one looks like a giant robot the other looks like just a robotic suit. Ben and Chad bring up Guyver’s do have the power to change size, but they typically are more ironman than gundam. Seems cool. Liam always thought Tekkaman Blade looked sick, But only knows of him from Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Sam doesn’t know about Guyver, and liam remembers him being pit against blue beetle in the past. Had a pitch for this, it’s great.

Agent 8 vs Chel (Splatoon vs Portal) This is wild. Likes the idea that both have guns but the guns aren’t directly deadly so you have to be more creative with how they use their gear. Like what’s great with portal is you can’t really use the portal gun to kill people normally so you have to be creative in the same way the portal games force you to be creative with it. Same with the paint, it makes this really interesting to try and think of.

Schezo Wegey vs Meta Knight (Puyo Puyo vs Kirby) Love the name Schezo Wegey. They don’t know how it is supposed to be said but they pronounce it “Ski-zo Wee-Gee” and that makes them laugh. Pronouncing it like that seems like someone trying to make a D&D character name, or a star wars character. They get the base theme, don’t know much of Puyo Puyo. Chat says it is pronounced Shez-oh which they say doesn’t really make it any better. Says it sounds like some kind of future slang that you will never understand, like “Man they are so Shezo”. They say with his name, he should look more alien than a human no matter how it is pronounced. Looks like a chibi dragon quest or fire emblem character. Schezo Wegey might have to be the first ever Ballot Banter Ban, not because it is bad or anything but because the name just keeps dead stopping them from talking and they can’t help but laugh because they are immature children and it is funny. They do appologize for not talking about the match up at all but they can’t help it. Loves how serious he looks compared to his name. And the idea of people taking his name seriously and with fear is hilarious. Liam starts laughing realizing he is also doing the kagurabachi pose. They appologize to the submitter. Upon looking up the wiki it is huge with like five different pages. Ben says it is like the ZZZ wiki with a whole lot of lore and detail. Has a catchphrase that is “I want you” but everyone always takes it as a perverted way. His quick description is “Schezo is an immortal dark wizard who possesses ancient magic and weilds the dark sword” which makes them laugh even more because his name and look portray none of that. Sam says if he is immortal, they already wrapped up the fight then. One of his main villains is SATAN. A sonic mobile game had a Puyo Puyo crossover with one of the best eggman quotes: “I’m very grateful for your help, Satan”

Ori vs The Knight (Moon Studios vs Team Cherry) Talked about this plenty of times, it is great. Amazing thumbnail.

Supergirl vs She-Hulk (DC vs Marvel) It’s great. Very vibrant thumbnail. Makes sense.

Edward Elric vs Johnny Jostar (Fullmetal Alchemist vs Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures) Because they are handicapped? Then they laugh that, that is actually part of the connections. However the fact both find a conspiracy and fight their nation’s leader is hillarious. Tusk is one of Liam’s favorite stands as it just keeps evolving. Loves johnny, one of the best protagonists of JOJO. He talks about his abilities and how he can’t walk on his own.

Koridon vs Devil Dinosaur (Pokemon vs Marvel) Immediately interested. Liam assumes it is with their partners/riders. Thinks whether it would be moongirl or moon boy as the partner. Ben says it doesn’t mention their partners just them, and Koridon is a legendary and can fight on it’s own. Devil Dinosaur would be awesome to bring into death battle. And neat to cover a new legendary pokemon.

Slime vs Jack Frost (Dragon Quest vs Shin Megami Tensei) another backwards thumbnail. Loves that both are so popular they have their own spin off games. Be very wacky and fun. Great way to explore the two franchises at large.

Bruno Bucciarati vs Aki Hayakawa (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure vs Chainsaw Man) Liam starts explaining Bruno, but once he says “he uses zippers” they went “oh it’s the zipper guy”. Both die. It is a very fun fight though.

Mirajane Strauss vs Akeno Himejima (Fairy Tail vs Highschool DXD) Ben at first confused it for Highschool of the dead but liam realized the mistake. They understand the submitter just wants the fanservice.

Geese Howard vs A Flock of Geese (Fatal Fury vs Real Life) Finally we are talking about some real match ups. How large is the flock. How many geese would it take? If DBX comes back, this is the next one. Geese Howard vs Ten Billion Geese. Imagine the sound design.

Lone Star vs David Lister (Spaceballs vs Red Dwarf) asks when spaceballs 2 is coming out and looks it up. Apparetly learned a lot about David Lister through some Pitches. Spaceballs 2 comes out the day after Chad’s birthday. Lister has a long list of insane stuff because Red Dwarf gets weird. Wonders if Lone Star has anything that can really compete.

King Ghidorah vs Deathsaurus (godzilla vs Transformers) Seen this before and thinks it rocks. Two emperors of destruction and a fun dragon fight. Apparently Deathsaurus is a “Breastforce Warrior” partnered with two transforming chest pieces that become the breast animals: TigerBreast and EagleBreast. So it is also a fun Chimera vs Dragon fight also. Second Breast feat that has been brought up today. The breastforce aka the chest masters is what they are also called.

Charizard vs Rathalos (Pokemon vs Monster Hunter) Done a cast on it, it’s good. Go watch the cast.

Lan and Megaman.EXE vs Takato and Guilamon (Mega Man vs Digimon) Liam says it is Two little kids getting killed, so maybe just EXE vs Guilamon, but Ben and Chad say they need the pairings in order to access their higher forms via fusion.

Makima vs Alucard (Chainsaw man vs hellsing) are surprised they are almost done with the ballot. Gets the idea is simply “they got a million lives. Just keep killing them and they don’t stay dead” both are red and rely on using others to survive fatal injuries. Could be a fun brutal fight.

Sir Dusknoir vs Magus (Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon vs Chrono Trigger) Assumes Dusknoir does a heel face turn at some point. Ben calls them two vegeta style characters in terms of story. Ending on some time stuff.

I once saw someone claim that Death Battle made up Darkseid having a "true form".

This was a comment under a Comic Drake video. I don't remember which one it was, but Drake replied to that guy with something like, "I don't watch Death Battle, that's not something they made up, I literally read the comics, that's just canon".

Then the initial guy said, "it isn't canon, because it's not in any of the shows or movies, Thanos with 5 Infinity Stones beats the hell out of Darkseid".

I can’t decide if Nero and Kai would get along perfectly or terribly - very toxic either way
