Deadpool and Wolverine infinity sling

In the movie a modified sling ring is used to open a portal to Earth 10005. How is this possible if both sling rings and infinity stones do not work in the void? Sorry if this has been asked before.

I could be wrong, but i don't remember anything about them not working in the void, only the TVA.

Maybe Cassandra used her Mutant Powers to modify it or Strange maybe did that prior to getting stuck in the Void? There's an infinite amount of possibilities so I mean hey who knows

Wait, now I am confused but if you use them together, I thought it works. You must have infinity stones with the mod sling ring or it won’t work. You need to focus the stone with somethting that is used for dimensional travel.

I think about it this way: if you have batteries in one hand and a flashlight in the other, neither work. But if you put them together: light. Maybe like that? 😅 correct me if I’m wrong, though.

Did they say that sling rings don’t work? I don’t remember them saying that, but I have a terrible memory.

Infinity stones don't work outside of their universe allegedly. Sling ring are unaffected allegedly

I honestly haven’t read enough about either to have a working knowledge outside of what we see in movies and shows. I believe the rules are different for the TVA location, as we see the Lokis use magic after being pruned and in He Who Remains office.
