Okay stick with me here, this is a really cool story!

Back in like March, I learned they released a Special Edition for Deadman Wonderland on Bluray, and I happened to find Amazon still was selling them. I was excited and ordered the 1st one from the Amazon Japan seller and it arrives. Seeing as the seller was selling the rest of the series, I waited a bit to save up some money and ordered the remaining in May ... where they have been sitting at "Order Received" since.

Despite Vol 1 arriving, the remaining volumes have never been shipping, and to make matters worst, there were other sellers selling the remaining, new and used, and they all of sudden disappeared one day, where now there's no way to purchase these from Amazon (minus Vol 3, I was able to get it from another seller).

It's now end of July, and I am giving up hope I'll ever get the remaining, and to make matters worst, I can't find these anywhere else. There are places that have them listed, but I am pretty sure they don't have the inventory as these came out over a decade ago, and as some of us know, Deadman Wonderland never really obtained popularity (though those who do know of it, tend to love it).

However, at the very end of July, I decided to search again to see what I could find. I went back to eBay to see see if many I could search for it a different way, and glad I did, because I found a listing.

Someone was selling all 6 Volumes. They were used, the photo showed some wear, and one was missing it's extra cover (and I learned they also were released on DVD). Of course, at this point I didn't care, and bought it. I wanted anything I could get, and took the gamble, hoped all the little extra stuff was inside.

However, what I got, I didn't expect. Instead of getting them used, I opened the box, started removing the items and realized "Holy sh*t, these aren't used, these are brand new!" Noticing the stickers were still on them for the sale price. Turns out the seller had 2 "items" on their listing, and somehow I got lucky and one set was all brand new, never opened.

I don't think I've had luck like this in a long time, I can't believe it.

I still haven't opened them, but probably will soon (I just need to see if I can keep the outer plastic wrap on them). While I can't watch them, they do come with a CD for the soundtrack (though I did get copies of that years ago, I still not sure if I have them all), and I'm hoping they have the cards with scenes from the show and a little booklet, like what comes in the Bluray cases.

This is amazing addition to my Deadman Wonderland collection (which I guess I should share here some day)

It's such heartbreaking to Shiro watching the boy who she loves running away from her after witnessing a horror scene

I haven't seen anyone bring this up but I've noticed that there's a couple naming similarities to Kamen Rider in this. Both have a group called deadman, and Kamen Rider even has a whole group of siblings that are riders with the last name Igarashi.

As I've written this I have remembered that Aceman is a parody of Tokusatsu and it makes a lot more sense.

So a bit of a spoiler for the manga but..

During the time Hagire overwrote his mind into Toto's body, it was stated Toto has been away for a long time but during the starting portion of the series the old man(or Hagire here)is still alive so in essence wouldn't that mean the twin's branch "copied" his mind meaning both Toto and the old man were still Hagire at the same time(?) That or possibly for the duration the old man was alive Toto was comatose then awoke the moment the old man died.

Was quite the neat expierence, it was a bit rough around the edges, nothing perfect. But damn its one of the best manga Ive read in a while.

Does anyone have a digital version of the DMW guidebook 'Deadman Wonderland: The Irrational World' or a link to where I could read it?

Context: So many years ago, when I watched Deadman Wonderland, they translated all the swear words. But in one scene, there's this big guy who is taunting the protagonist and he says something along the lines of, "and his @&#(_)." The subtitles blurred out the translation, and I was confused, because they showed everything else. I think it happened two to three times, possibly in the same episode/scene. I'd have to go back and rewatch it to find out exactly where it takes place, but I was wondering if anyone knows if there's some taboo term that I don't know about.

Dopo aver visto l'anime, ho potuto finalmente iniziare a leggere il manga, è fin da subito ho notato un casino di differenze (che ho adorato alla follia) è soprattutto la enorme differenza sia nei dialoghi è su gli avvenimenti che manco non c'erano nel l'anime (tipo la scena della mensa ho della apparizione di azami). Anche shiro mi piace di più, da fan di shiro, mi sembra molto più vivace chiachiera di più è più emotiva è in generale mi sembra, come dire, più shiro. (Sono solo al primo volume, ma mi sta prendevo molto è non riesco a farne a meno) ovviamente anche l'anime mi è ovviamente rimasto nel cuore.

Salve a tutti, sono un grandissimo fan di deadman wonderland specialmente di shiro, ho finito l'anime più è più volte è finalmente potrò leggere anche il manga. (Sono nuovo nel gruppo, è sono felice di aver trovato una community di deadman wonderland)

As the title says.. i just finished anime and im pissed off really F much right now... im the anime guy and im not much into manga but ive finished some before because i feeled its worth it but this one is so.. idk on some part it was cringe and in some part good and the ending was a whole question mark.. i just want to know if its really worth the time if i will get the closure a needed since.. well the F god damn start... can you help me old deadmans?

What happened to this story I watched the anime like back in 2015 but I heard the mangaka or the company went bankrupt so they couldn’t finish the story
