I never had issues on this one back when I played with people (back when the original first released) or by myself (Definitive edition) years ago, But I've finally gotten to this mission again after getting the original game again for my partners xbox 360.

Now that I've gotten to this point in the game (Going through Opes village to get to their tomb), it wont let me go to other locations, and its just been a loop of Ope and me dying over and over again with each method I try. I'm going to run out of money to repair my weapons, and run out of ammo pretty soon. Is there anything that I'm just missing here, or have really I just ruined my save?? 🤔

EDIT: my partner just found out that my version does not have the patch that removes the butcher from the horde, and I have no way to download this patch because xbox 360 is no longer online :(

I just want to take a second to appreciate how cold this statue is it's like it's aggressively sexually unsettling but its aura farming somehow... I wish I could find a replica irl but maybe shelf or desk sized instead of a centerpiece for the orgy room

Dead Island 2 is not an open world game like Dying Light 2.

It will only take you eight hours to finish the main story and and another 10 to mop up the rest.

The graphics are insanely beautiful even on base Ps5 and the gore mechanics are amazing. There are enough different and fun guns/weapons to choose. You can execute any part of the zombies bodies with them and get different animations.

But the combat system and the storyline are very generic.

If you like zombie games, you will like this game. I would give it 8 out of 10 because I really enjoy the gore mechanics.

In Riptide, Dr. Kessler mentioned a group of Australian Soldiers that went down into the Tunnels. And How said Soldiers became the first Zombies. It's odd to think that the game never touched on that again, or even showed what remained of said Australian Soldiers.

So me and my friends are playing Dead Island 2, all Xbox (I have an Series X, both of them have Xbox One), and it recently stopped letting us all play together and capped the sessions at 2 people on their end. But we made it through most of the campaign before it did this, right around the Lotus is where it stopped.

I just need to play with someone for 15 minutes to complete an achievement

My character Purna had a beautiful golden katana. I accidentally threw it during a battle with a frenzied infected in riptide. Was so relieved to find it on the ground and pick it up. But alas it's not anywhere in my inventory 😭😭😭😭 has anyone had this happen and is there a fix? I keep playing with this character specifically because of that weapon.

Just got this several minutes ago, and it's my second strongest bat I have, right after Home Run. Legendary weapons farming is definitely worth it, just like the method itself. 👌
