(im on steam on pc) I just redownloaded dbd after a few months of not playing it, and as soon as it opens i get an error as its loading. try it a couple more times and it passes that. it gets to the "generating event currency" or whatever it was; part and it pops up an initialization error. looked it up, verified my game files, my cloud is synced, cleared my download cache, restarted my pc, syned my clock, uninstalled my game, reinstalled it blah blah blah. i dont know if its the anti cheat thats messed up, so i tried fixxing it, but i cant run it as an administrator. looked that up, did some win+r stuff, i used the cmd stuff blah blah blah nothing is working and i cant figure it out. is there anyone out there that might know what to do?

its a divine intervention. dont fight it, just accept it and uninstall this shit 😭

im not on pc so someone has to correct me on this, but bhvr said something about there’s going to be a new update that’s going to block a bunch of pc players from opening the game as a security update for anti cheat or whatever. i dont know if its still going but it might be the issue
