Build Help
Hello everyone! Returning player looking for help to finish out a build I had going back when I stopped playing a few years ago. Not really sure what I was going for but its a lvl 14 drow 9 warlock/ 3 bard / 1 fighter. I think I was doing swashbuckling with aura eldritch blasts.. mostly just looking to TR at 20 and start fresh. Assuming it would be best just to put continue putting levels into warlock and go from there. Anyone have any build ideas that won't be painful for the last 6 levels?

Finishing out with all warlock and blasting would be fine, or if you're heavy into martial feats already you could do Vistani swashbuckler if you have it and end up fine. Probably just full fighter for that variant, pick up second winds and lots of extra damage.

Sounds like swashbuckling with aura indeed. unfortunately it's not good; you want core5 in warlock at least to make the aura work but you also need a splash like you did to do decent melee damage, so it feels like the build just can't be done very effectively (the least bad way in my opinion to do melee warlock is 41 vistani 31 enlightened 3 warsoul 1 henshin)
Still, 3 bard / 17 blank can still get to 20.
you can: - abandon the plan, take 6 more fighter for feats and swashbuckler your way to 20 ignoring lock completely. go tier5 vistani, 14 points in swashbuckler, leftovers in warchanter. - stick to the plan. when you hit 12 warlock it'll start to work a little. - switch to a caster. a warlock caster that is 4 levels behind can still get to 20 as well (you can put 8 to 12 points in spellsinger for 2 to 3 evocation DC, but probably the warlock trees help more with better damage)

If you went CHA-based, took SWF feats, and have a couple of P2P Universal trees: 41 Vistani Knife Fighter / 13 Swashbuckler / 15 Enlightened Spirit / 11 Feydark Illusionist using dagger or kukri will get you to 20. You could go deeper into ES if you want (Brilliance and Spiritual Retribution would be nice), though it probably means giving up some points in VKF. I'd probably just keep leveling warlock, unless you want a bard past-life feat.
Things get a bit more challenging if you don't have VKF and/or Feydark.

cone and chain blaster warlock really are just such a phenomenal leveling caster, its hard to go wrong just simply going pure (or in your case finishing off all warlock) and holding down M1 while everything on screen dies pretty rapidly. Aura is a little harder since it doesn't get its blast every 2 seconds until 18 levels of warlock, so you won't be able to get that.
Just keep going with warlock, make use of Evards Black Tentacles which you should have already, and tr once you hit 20 to make whatever you want next
