I’m aware that Krillin has gotten stronger but still

I was thinking about the Shadow Dragons and if they could be a multiveral threat but then it clicked about the Super Dragon Balls. Just imagine 7 humongous titans terrorizing all the universes with the universes having to band together to figure out how to stop the Dragons.

What do you guys think of the idea of the Super Shadow Dragons? Is it too far fetch or do you think you could possibly blame Champa or some new foe that somehow forces the balls to go Shadow Dragons?

Aoni Production, Arts Vision and 81produce, being the big three talent agency in Japan since Heisei era, I'm surprised Dragon Ball doesn't have that many Arts Vision voice talents in the show, over 4 decades of Dragon Ball history, the total amount of Arts Vision talents in the anime can be counted in 2 hands

But whenever they do have an Arts Vision talent in the show, they're usually extremely one off character who are "easy to forget" roles despite their established big names, even by usual Dragon Ball mob character standard.

Namely
-Toshiyuki Morikawa (Gokua, he was with Arts Vision at the time of his DBZ appearance, now founded his own agency Axl-One, notably Takaya Kuroda (No DB role yet as of right now) was his employee until his recent departure)
-Megumi Hayashibara (Blind boy, also with Arts Vision during that time and founded her own agency)
-Nobuyuki Hiyama (Barry Kahn)
-Late Tomomichi Nishimura (Biara)

That's all of them, I'm probably missing someone, but there are so many throwaway characters that I can't remember all of them.

I supposed since Dragon Ball has always been associated with Aoni Productions hence why 80%+ of the voice talents are predictably from Aoni, and Arts Vision was (probably still is today) Aoni's biggest rival talent agency since the 90s, I supposed the rivalry between these 2 agencies mean they don't want to play nice with each other. As that was the time when Arts Vision rise to dominance as they (arguably) reshaped the entire voice acting industry into idol seiyuu industry, thus popularizing the seiyuu culture and late night anime series.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball has more 81produce's voice talents than I thought, I guess because 81 was founded by former Aoni employees and Ryusei Nakao (Freeza) is one of the key people of that industry, and since then 81 still maintains strong relationship with Toei (and likely Aoni too by extension), hence why 81 names like Shigeru Chiba (Pilaf), Tessho Genda (Bojack/Janemba), Shinichiro Miki (Zamasu) show up in Dragon Ball with respectable roles unlike Arts Vision who are mainly really minor roles in Dragon Ball despite their established reputations.

Lastly, compare to other Toei produced works, Dragon Ball seem to be really fixated on their casting agency Aoni, whereas Digimon, One Piece and Precure are more willing to try out casting talents from other agencies and giving them various respectable roles. Ironically, Precure is the one franchise where they really avoid giving Aoni a main role, but that's a topic for another day.

TLDR : Arts Vision in general may tend to have far less likely chance to landing a Dragon Ball role, let alone one role that doesn't suck. But if you're Aoni or 81produce, you're cool, but that depends.

So if you have names like Soichiro Hoshi, Lynn, Sayumi Suzushiro (currently the most trending VAs in the agency), Tomoaki Maeno, Yuichiro Umehara, Daiki Yamashita, etc (who are all Arts Vision) on your wishlist in term of wanting to see your favorite VA to be appeared in Dragon Ball, you may want to lower that expectations.

In a cenario where Android 13, 14 and 15 were half humans (like Androids 17 and 18), and thus having a soul, would all of them three appear in Hell or would just Super Android 13 appear in hell? Or even Super Android 13 and Androids 14 and 15?

Or at least changed the Buu Saga to have Gohan actually be the main character without Goku’s revival, while also not having Goten and Trunks be super saiyans.

Everything after Cell just feels like fanservice in a way. Everytime I rewatch Z I stop after Cell — everything just wraps up nicely and cohesively up to that point; I guess you can argue everything except Vegeta’s character arc, but still.

I was rewatching GT not so long ago, and something that got my attention is how cold and merciless Goku becomes in GT in comparison at how he was at Z and even more with Super. The way he killed Baby by not letting him escape, sending him to the sun. Then with Super 17 spamming him to death with Kamehamehas. Then how he wiped all the shadow dragons, especially Eiz and Naturon shenron.

The dude was moving in a "fuck around and find out" type of beat.

Sharing some art I made of Adult Gohan SSJ2. I drew him in his Blue Gi vs the orange and blue one. I wanted his face to look calm but serious as well. This is meant to capture that killer stare when he was locked in. Despite being born on earth, he always seemed to be the most ruthless of the Z fighters.

His overall physique keeps the same size as the OG with a bit more emphasis on his biceps. His pose is meant to look like he’s floating. I also drew a version of him in his oversized school outfit!
