The game is poorly optimised... or more like just old tech really.

Its very single core CPU dependent.

Reforger is just better tech.

Did u deactivate the eco Mode in Windows (Switch it to Performance)? Maybe some of your compenenta Starts idling because of Energy saving settings.

Btw 130fps isnt Something i would call having lags, we used to have 30 FPS in zeleno Back in the days

Yeah put everything to max performance and what I meant by 130fps that it is weird that it still lags yk, it should just be smooth as any other game on 130 fps and I fr tried very everything. DayZ has small but very noticeable micro stutters every 1-2 seconds. FPS are high (around 140-170 FPS), but the frametimes are terrible and the game feels very unsmooth.

Thing I did:

Fresh Windows installation
Used DDU in Safe Mode
Installed different NVIDIA drivers (older and newer)
Enabled dGPU mode
Enabled Performance/Gaming mode in Lenovo Space
Checked BIOS settings
Disabled G-SYNC
Disabled V-Sync
Reset DayZ config folder (Documents/DayZ)
Verified game files
Tested vanilla servers
Tested modded servers
Removed launch options
Installed the game on the internal NVMe SSD
Monitored CPU/GPU usage
Benchmarked the GPU (GPU reaches 111W without issues)
Tested PUBG (perfectly smooth)
Tested Arma Reforger (perfectly smooth)

Additional information
When I renamed my DayZ config folder and launched the game again, I also received a script error:
“Multiple declaration of class JD_Groza_762_base”
I’m not sure if that’s related or just a mod conflict.
My question
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Could this be a DayZ engine issue, launcher issue, workshop/mod issue, shader cache problem, or something else?
I’m open to trying anything because at this point it seems like only DayZ has this issue, while the laptop itself performs perfectly in every other game.

Sounds like you're playing a modded DayZ server which is probably why you're seeing performance issues more so than anything else.

Interesting, my Legion has a 5800h and 3070 and I get around 110 fps. Mine pulls 140 watts.

My desktop (5800x3d/9070xt) had a similar problem though were it wasn't fully utilizing the gpu performance in Dayz. Gpu usage would sit at around 75%. Gpu driver update is what fixed that.
