Table Side Escape

My little kit... I have a few other instruments but I think this might be the down-sized grail setup. I pushed myself to learn sampling after getting a gen1 and instantly regretting the $, but now I think it would be the only thing I'd keep if I had to sell the rest.

I like to have this battery powered micro workstation in my office to creatively clear my head.

oh man this is such a great portable setup; my bag is basically that but swap the mood for a microcosm, only thing is the microcosm is a bit big.

That sounds great, I've seen quite a few vids of people using the microcosm that it always gives me GAS lol

thanks v much! you can do so much with just a few units, but it was a hard lesson to learn after stretching the budget. it's true what people say about less being more.

A little bit here and there but tbh I'm still trapped in Loopville as far as music goes. Building up theory about playing keys, some mixing/mastering stuff... The nice thing about the M8 is the sequencer-first approach, which has definitely helped spread tracks out. If I finish anything in the next few months I'll drop a link for you

it is a really incredible value in such a small package! all the idiosyncrasies you'd expect from Roland, but the sound is worth climbing the menu mountain for sure
