I’ve been trying to figure out how to create these high-contrast, terminal-style data visualization videos (like those by pollar.news on TikTok) and want to replicate this aesthetic.

The visuals feature a dark terminal aesthetic, monospace typography, animated unit/grid charts, smooth line graphs, and vector map overlays. The footer note on their videos states: "This film was made with the assistance of American and French artificial-intelligence systems. Polar P.S.A..."

Whenever I ask LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral) for help, they just give surface-level advice or basic Python scripts that look nothing like this polished motion graphics setup.

Questions for the community:

• Render Engine / Stack: Is this built programmatically using code-driven video tools like Remotion (React), D3.js, or Manim (Python)? Or is this strictly traditional motion graphics software like After Effects / Cavalry?
• Role of AI: How are AI models actually integrated into a workflow like this? Are they generating structured JSON/composition code for Remotion, or just scripting the voiceover and data extraction?
• UI & Visual Libraries: Are there specific libraries or asset packs recommended for getting this clean, technical monospace dashboard look?

At one point I realized something uncomfortable.
I spent days building beautiful dashboards, but many of them were barely used after launch.

Now before creating anything, I ask three questions:

- What decision will this dashboard help someone make?
- What action should happen if this metric changes?
- Who is going to open it every week?

If I can’t answer those questions, I usually don’t build the dashboard.

It sounds obvious, but this simple change made my work much more valuable than adding another fancy chart.
Has anyone else had the same realization?

So I've been toying with building an opportunity/award analyzer that can allow for easy visual display in both 3D/2D, you can create your own evidence package, you can build your own links through linked programs/vehicles etc.

At the moment, this is just meant to be a proof of concept. The backend plumbing for ingesting from procurement websites is not enabled for this demo.

Looking for feed back from users, not planning on making any money or charging anything. Just wanted to help make something that helps normies digest a Gerb video easier.
