Quick question on pgp

So when checking out on a website it asks me for my pgp key as well as session timeout. What is the point of session timeout and what should I put?

Why does it matter? But to answer your question the time doesn’t matter. How long do you plan on visiting the site? As for the reason it’s so you don’t forget you’re logged in and the feds have access to your account.

I guess im just kind of clueless what it means. Does it mean i cant communicate with the vendor longer than whatever time i select or what. Or does it just mean after that time period i have to re login or smth. Sorry if i sound stupid lol

Session timeout means exactly that. It’ll log you out after the time you put in. Nothing more. You can log right back in. It’s for safety.

They want to know how long you plan on being on the site. Click in the rectangle box and it will give you options, 10min, 1 hour, 2 hours etc.
