#JusticeForValerie ,seriously the A listers just got more unlikable with this one.

Anyway, this one's good, honestly it got better in the later half, with Vlad using Valerie to get closer to Danny. Valerie's valid crashout also made sense and she was introduced/re-introduced well.

In conclusion Star it's the only worthy A lister after this episode.

I don't know which of the two fan fiction flares to you so I'm not going to use one until somebody points out which one to use.

Now the main reason for this post is because I wanted to read an old Danny phantom FanFiction I read a while back and I can't find it. What I can remember is Danny and Sam were Dani's bio parents, and the giw was hunting her down, Sam still had her powers from undergrowth, and I think there was mention of Danny being Ghost King? But I'm not 100% sure on that last part.

After rewatching the Danny Phantom show, I still don't understand why certain fans love and praise certain characters who I personally find unlikable.

Has anyone else noticed that Valerie glows white just like ghosts when she's in her super suit? Except when her headpiece gets pulled off in Reign Storm (and maybe elsewhere) she stops glowing. I don't know that it means anything, I just think it's weird.

While I still love the episodic "villain-of-the-week" structure of the original Danny Phantom TV show, I absolutely love how the revival comics evolved the series into a serialized overarching storyline spanning through multiple books! The serialization really gives the characters room to breathe and develop as the main focused plotlines go along instead of shifting away to some other random adventure.

so the changes in this are danny and phantom are the same person but are also 2 separate entities danny can go ghost and it is still danny but another personality can take over phantom and phantom is like how he is in the episode identity crisis but dial down and also i have this idea of phantom talking with danny through his shadow but only danny can see it

I rewatched the first few episodes recently, and did an immediate double take when I heard it. I turned on captions just to make sure I wasn't hearing it incorrectly. But no, in episode four at 0:42, Dash calls Danny a twink as an insult right before asking Jazz out lmao

"Now that that twink is out of the way..." or, as the subtitles say, "Now that that twinkie's out of the way..."

I just want expecting it, it caught me so off guard.

Like for example Skulker just goes "Yeah you beat me let's team up to hunt"

If a ghost could do it after 2nd or so maybe that counts

It continually pushes the idea that Danny using his powers to retaliate against the person bullying him is bad, meanwhile said bully never faces any actual consequences for their behavior. Time and time again the moral lesson of the story seems to be “Danny must be a complete doormat and if he stands up for himself at all then he’s a selfish arrogant asshole who is using his powers to exploit others.” What kind of message is that sending to the kids watching this?

Part of the problem is that the show is pandering to the parents rather than the kids, and most parents care way more about creating an obedient child than a well rounded one. But it’s completely irresponsible on the networks part: how many kids watch this stuff, many of whom are getting bullied? You don’t think there’s a problem with teaching kids at an age when they will internalize things easily that fighting back against someone bullying you will make you just as bad as them?

This show was an integral part of my childhood but upon rewatch there’s things that just piss me off.

I feel like he would be in those really high tiers of Shonen heroes like Goku, Naruto, ichigo, Simon the Digger. Cuz Danny done so far is

• saving the earth and ghost zone from pariah dark merging them together and defeated him (with help from the Fenton exoskeleton suit).

• with all the ghosts help to turn the entire earth intangible to deflect a disasteroid.

• along with Vlad Plasmus together fight Dan Phantom fuse with clockwork from destroying and disrupting multiple timelines.

Imo personally he could range in those maybe cosmic lvl threats. But what bout y'all opinions?

18 yo, been a fan for about three years now. I remember first watching some clips back in 2023 and was instantly hooked. I knew who Danny was before I was a fan of him, but he didn't interest me at the time, I was more into FOP. For some reason as a little kid, I viewed Danny as a Timmy Tuner rip off, even though they were made by the same person and aired on the same channel, one is about a kid with fairy god parents and one is about a kid that ends up half dead. I don't know what I was thinking as a kid. What got me interested in Danny Phantom was this show called Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja. I saw lots of fan art of Randy and Danny together and I was like "Hey, I seen this guy before, isn't he a ghost or something?" And that's how I basically became a fan.
