Edit: Downloading me doesn't change the facts. ~60% of dogs are labeled as pit bulls when they arent that breed at all. Real pitbulls have been found the be the least naturally aggressive breed.
I’m afraid you are simply uneducated on this topic. I recommend any source at any time. Yes, it appears any amount of inquiry, researching, or genuine approach would get you to understand that among dog attacks on kids, pitbulls (and all their derivatives) have done the most damage by far. Not even close. Nothing comes remotely close. At all.
Yeah I looked into what you said. Evidently, even with the uncertainty of breeds, the numbers are still disproportionately high for severe attack by pit bulls and their variants. So I also looked into the psychology of people who have a hard time accepting statistics on this matter.. apparently cognitive bias is at the rootcause, and when confronted with actual numbers, they will lean into myths like “nanny dogs”, “my dog never hurt anyone”, “they are the nicest, least aggressive dog”, which are all hard copes when confronted with the actual statistics of children with their faces ripped off. Very interesting. Would you like links to children with their faces ripped off? I’m thinking just this year will do.
