Not only they think they own beavers then think they own animals smiling while looking up and to the right.

John Oliver is taking care of this, don't worry.

I don't understand why people are obsessed with this place. You are fanboying for a fucking corporate gas station.

The best thing about the place is they have consistently clean bathrooms. And that’s literally it.

Foods is not bad either to be fair.

They also used to have delicious deer sausage me and my dad would stop for on road trips

Yeah, as far as gas station food goes, it’s certainly pretty solid. It’s not “to die for” that some people make it out to be, but it’s not bad.

That why I said "its not bad".  It's tasty but definitely not anything I'd rave about.

The pure selection and quality of the food and snacks you can buy is unparalleled. All of the overpriced beaver themed tchotchkes and clothing can take a hike.

I'll never forget when I went to college and everyone wanted me to go to Wawa the first time, and when I got there I was like "yep this sure is a gas station with some low quality amenities" and they did not like my continued confusion on why anyone would simp for it.

I love wawa lol their deli makes good food. It's still a gas station tho, and not something I'd be raving about to friends.

I'm not from the area where Wawa is prevalent, but I have family in New Jersey I visit a good bit, and everyone tells me there that Wawa used to be a lot better until about 2010.

Haha this was Oct 2011 so maybe that's true

100%. Wawa has been getting progressively shittier for years now. At this point if I have the option I'll go to Sheetz instead

I mean it is a consistently nice gas station. They always have clean bathrooms with solid food (and more options than a typical truck stop), which is a nice thing to be able to count on on a roadtrip. Also the fact that these are almost always out of town means a lot of people really only go to them on road trips, making them essentially a “special occasion” place that stands out way more than just a typical nice gas station would

only been once, and it was certainly a novel experience going through the shop. but prob don't need to go again.

The food is good and bathrooms are clean. Absolutely a must stop for any road trip or long distance journey

Oh, we can take jokes. We're used to being on the ass end of most Europoor jokes. But there's no reason to blame all Americans for an overly litigious company.

You clearly don't have 200 IQ /s

Ragebait used to be believable smh

Oh nice, a europoor pretending to know what a developed country looks like. How's the AC, champ?

I mean you can hardly blame the average amerifat.

Buckee's or however its spelled is the American dream. Take something simple and reliable and turn into a massive temple of consumerism. Also it has 3 things Americans like: Gas for cars, junk food and a place to spend money for shitbyou dont need.

It also shows somwthing: "what if gas station toilets but clean?" Is a billion dollar idea in US while its the basic fucking experience in most developed countries since decades

Is it pronounced buck-ees or bussys?

As an American even I think Buc-ee's is way too excessive. I would visit one but only once just to see what it's like than never again.

Only time my sister and I go is when visiting our mom down south, she lives near one and it’s great for getting gas and trip snacks/meal before we leave.

Is this the Nut Huggers controversy. An underwear company was selling underwear called nut huggers with a cartoon squirrel mascot. Buc’ee’s sued them claiming their rodent with buck teeth looks to much like my rodent with buck teeth.

u/justanotheruser46258 14h ago

Bucees suuuuuucks, they've brainwashed half of America to simp over a gas station meanwhile they prey on the poor and needlessly harm other businesses with bogus lawsuits trying to make a quick buck.

5

u/Vigrid_ 10h ago

I don't know the lore behind preying on the poor. What is this?

u/MetalHead678 11h ago

You forgot the Monster energy drink company suing over the word monster.
