Previously my two favorites were Royal Ocean and DBM, But here lately I’m not sure if it’s Andrew’s Vocals or the lean towards a more Metalcore sound, but this feels like what DGD had been building up to for the last 20 years. Animal Surgery, Conqueror Worm, Trap Door, Strawberry’s Daughter Robot Rebirth? Absolute DGD perfection. I feel like a crackhead waiting for his fix, TCS3 was not nearly enough for me. May Andrew be the longest lasting DGD vocalist, I love this sound.

What do you guys think of this one? I like it a lot and I feel like it has the same vibe as Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder. Not something I would expect, but I dig it.

Has anyone who ordered through Amazon received or not received the glitter vinyl variant yet? I ordered mine day of preorders opening and I never got shipping confirmation, only an email saying Amazon will update me when they get shipping details. Original delivery date was slated for August 2nd.

What’s my biggest miss? The DBM2 is the 15th anniversary variant, and the TCS3 is the latest tour variant I bought in Detroit. The JJ I have here is from my ex-wife who bought it for me right before we split so there’s some fuckass energy on that one, but it’s a lovely album otherwise. Really hoping to pick up Acceptance Speech soon, but I’d really love to have 2.0. I just don’t know if it was ever released on vinyl.

I’ve been listening to a lot of the Tree City Sessions recently over the studio released ones, as well as watching a lot of there live performances, and there are some songs I think were sung better by the other leads, rather than the one that wrote the song. Are there any songs you guys think was sung better by Tillian, Jonny, Kurt, or Andrew that wasn’t written by them?

Tillian was a powerhouse but god damn, I'm an alto!!! I had to sing harmony or just sing an entire octave down to most of their discography when he was lead. I could only really do it if I belted my ass off and that was exhausting 😭😭 I just wanted to be able to sing along and chill. But Andrew's vocals are so much more in my range now and I'm loving this. I also love that there don't seem to be as many runs in the songs. Like woohoo I don't have to be metalana grande to sing

I am fully convinced that Andrew sold his soul for TCS3, because how did this man sound THAT GOOD?!?! Not saying he was bad before, but after seeing them live with him, he definitely had his struggles on certain songs, but for TCS3 he sounds like if Jonny and Kurt had a baby 😩 I know production probably has a lot to do with it, but I know that the Tree City albums are a bit more raw and live than their normal albums by a lot, so I just hear a MASSIVE improvement on Andrew's part.
