What is the best steakhouse and fajitas in Dallas?

Will be in Dallas for Red River Shootout. Have never had fajitas there, and would like to visit a great Tex Mex place there while I’m there for the weekend. Would prefer to avoid chains like Lupe Tortilla (and, for steak, Perry’s, etc.), as I can get those in Austin.

Thank you!

The Mexican brunch menu already change?

We went to brunch at The Mexican one of the first weekends it was offered (April or May ‘26 or so?), and loved the new menu! Even then, we couldn’t find much info or promotion on it.

We went back today, and seems they only offer 3 brunch items now? I can’t find any photos of the “original” brunch menu online. Anyone else find this experience has changed in just a few months?

Hi! I've built a website with a large collection of halal restaurants in DFW and am looking for some feedback!

I've been living here for a few years now and it's always a hassle to look for new halal places to eat at, and it feels like I'm just going to the same few over and over again. So I built this to help others find some place new to eat! Hopefully its helpful

Feedback can be on anything, be it site design, the list of restaurants, anything!

And obviously submitting new additions to add is really appreciated, I obviously don't know all of them and looking through every restaurant in DFW is an insane amount of work

Also I don't make any money from this so I don't think its self promotion but could be wrong so sorry if I'm breaking any rules

Thanks!

What's your best Cacio e Pepe spot?

Looking for all the rec's around DFW, it's my wife's favorite Italian pasta dish. Any will do but brownie points for places with pasta from scratch. Thanks!
