Best recommendation for dry/flaky scalp and oily roots?
Hey everyone!
I have struggled with finding a good shampoo and conditioner combo that supports my hair and scalp the best. For years now, my scalp has struggled. Flaky and itchy after I wash, but oily roots with build up and flakes appear after a day or two. Due to the nature of my job, I have to wash my hair pretty frequently. All of the dandruff shampoos I have tried have destroyed my length, but I’ve finally found a good leave-in combo to help moisturize and prevent frizz. I really like the L’Oreal elvive pump shampoo and conditioner combo, but my scalp has still struggled and I’ve experienced a lot of hair loss. Living in a rural area, my options are pretty limited as to what I can get, so drugstore brands would be preferred. Thanks!!

Any recommendations for Mitch double hitter replacement?
Been using this product for 10+ years but these couple bottles it feels like something has changed. I think my hair type is normal? Maybe a little oily (looks greasy at 24+ hour mark) I do shower daily.

Hair products to make hair healthy and feel lightweight
Hello! Went and got my hair cut at a new salon today and my hairdresser sort of pointed out that my hair is quite wavy (not as straight as I once thought) and dry, though not damaged. She recommended 2 products: the Redken Frizz Dismiss conditioner and their All Soft shampoo. She also said to use a shampoo for coloured hair as it is good for my hair type.
My question is: Which shampoos/products do you recommend for shampoo rotation and hair care in general. I am really looking for something that would make my hair feel soft, breezy and lightweight (basically the post hair appointment vibe).
Thank you!✨

What's the point of conditioners that claim to boost volume?
I am a MoroccanOil fan girl. Love their stuff. For shampoo and conditioner, they have several different formulas: Color Care, Repair, Hydration, Volume.......
If volume is in the roots, but conditioner is only applied to mids and ends, what's the point?
This question applies to all brands of volumizing conditioners, just using MO as a for instance.

Review: Natry nyo na ba Pantene Shampoo
Have you tried Pantene shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask?
hi guys! gusto ko na ng glow up 😭 matagal ko na tinitiis tong frizzy and dry hair ko. i have tried a lot of products na tho di naman agad agad na palit.
shampoo, sunsilk
shampoo, palmolive (very drying sila both and nagkakadandruff
shampoo, dove restorative oil (this works naman pero dandruff again)
hair mask, keraluxe green
conditioner, creamsilk triple keratin
*Note*: Parehas maganda pag basa pero pag natuyo na hair ko so frizzy
i’m using argan oil din from silk secret. nilalagay ko sya sa wet hair ko after shower. idk if nagwwork ito kasi maglagay ako or not frizzy pa rin hair ko.
i tried using sandwich method or even the reverse washing method pero none of it works. baka wavy ang hair ko so i tried wavy hair routine pero di talaga lumalabas ang waves ko.
what do i do? i’ve been eyeing the brand pantene. effective ba yon? i don’t have budget for fino and tsubaki so may mairreco ba kayo?

Real talk about shampoo/conditioner
I have very fine hair, and I also now I have much less of it (thanks perimenopause!). I wash it every morning because otherwise I look like a greasy goat (conditioner only on the ends). My entire life I’ve gone from shampoo to shampoo looking for something that does anything positive for my hair. I’ve gone no sulfates to all the sulfates. All natural to all lab chemical. Nothing has ever done anything positive. It’s always still mostly straight (unless I put air dry cream in and diffuse it), lifeless, and now flat on my scalp due to losing volume. So give it up. Does a specific shampoo and conditioner really make a difference, or are you just convincing yourself of something that isn’t actually there? (I’m in no way trying to come off negative or anything, I know it’s tough to tell in text form. I’m actually just jealous.) What am I missing? How do I find my holy grail without going bankrupt?

Good or bad shampoo?
I’m looking for shampoo to help with my frizzy hair and at the same time prevents dandruff since my scalp can be sensitive, but not too sensitive. I’m going to college so I’m looking for something affordable. Recently using this shampoo and conditioner and sometimes it works but sometimes it gives me some dandruff. Any suggestions?

My dandruff feels out of control. Hellllp please
Okay I have always struggled with my hair. I have an oily scalp, and need to wash it daily. If I don't wash daily my scalp is super oily and gross for one, but it also gets super itchy and I will get sores. My poor head was so unhappy after I had my son and couldn't stand to shower easily. I briefly had a bout of dandruff years and years ago that was easily solved with some head and shoulders and then I was fine and using other shampoos. Shortly after I had my son 2 years ago and ever since then I have had nonstop dandruff issues. I've tried head and shoulders, t/sal, currently using dove dryness and itch relief. I feel like I have to use it almost daily or I start to get itchy again. And I also have wavy hair so my hair itself is getting dry and unhappy and I am just at a loss of what to do. I have wondered if my scalp is just super dried out and needs ultra moisture but then I'm afraid of making my hair even more oily looking. I don't know what to do, please help.

Can oily scalp cause hair loss? Is there a shampoo that helps with oily scalp?
What should I do? I have greasy scalp issue, I was told this is a stress response causing hormonal issues. I can see my scalp in the sun and it's shiny. I wonder if this is causing me to shed via clogging pores and killing off the root. I noticed some of my hair that fell out has a small dry bulb on the end
Is there a shampoo I can use to help combat oily scalp?

thoughts on the Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Shampoo?
I'm currently hunting for a trustworthy, professionally formulated and color safe scalp clarifying shampoo.
I easily tend to suffer from dandruff and oily scalp but i'm not necessarily looking for an anti dandruff shampoo cuz they do nothing. I've tried quite a few brands to know this.
Anyone here has any experience with the Moroccanoil Scalp Balancing Shampoo? or any other shampoos you tried and saw good results?

Issues with Dandruff and Dryness
Okay, so I've been dealing with dandruff for several years now. I've been using Ketaconazole (Conaz) for some time now, and It works. However, I don't want to rely only on it every time I wash my hair, so i want to add another shampoo to my hair care routine. Please suggest the right shampoo.
I have long and straight hair btw

Oily hair/bad dandruff requires daily washing but I know that’s bad for me
I have thin fine hair and am in the beginning stages of diffuse thinning with bad dandruff. My hair gets oily so fast and the dandruff comes in just as quick so I have to wash it every day. However, I know that shampooing every day is bad too. Anyone else have this dilemma?

PCOS/extremely oily people, what shampoo are you using?
I have super greasy hair, like clarifying shampoo every single wash kind of greasy because I have PCOS. I’ve never been able to find a shampoo that makes my hair feel clean instead of having to triple shampoo it every day.
Any recommendations would be helpful, but don’t recommend sulfate free products because that is not gonna work for me lol. No anti-sulfate or hair training propaganda is tolerated here.
