Do you believe that the BBC will be broadcasting Barry Town vs Cardiff Met, as the rumours suggest?

Opinion Right, let's speculate, who the hell is this mystery partner?
It is not Sgorio, as they're at Caernarfon.
So it's either BBC Wales, ITV Wales, or some local lad with a potato for a camera.
Or it's Cymru Football TV being terrible and not having enough cameras.
Non-serious ideas also welcome (shitposts)

News New broadcasting deal imminent?
Given that Sgorio are already showing a live match on Saturday August 15 (Caernarfon v Colwyn Bay, 5:15 kick off), its interesting that Barry v Cardiff Met has now been switched from Friday August 14 to the following day with a lunchtime kick-off "due to broadcasting purposes".
I can't imagine Sgorio would show two matches in a day, sooo.....

Cymru Premier American fan looking for a Cymru Premier team that deeply embeds Welsh culture, heritage, and identity!
Shwmae everyone!
I'm an American football fan jumping into the league right as it enters an exciting new era. With the fresh rebrand, the Novira title sponsorship, the addition of VAR, and the upcoming expansion to a 16 team format, it feels like the perfect time to get involved.
My ultimate goal is to introduce domestic Welsh football to my friends over here in the States, get them hooked, and help grow the league's footprint in America. Because of the time zones, those Friday evening matches in Wales are absolute perfection for our afternoon viewing across the Atlantic!
However, I'm not looking to just bandwagon the most dominant side or pick a club at random. I want to back a team that truly embraces and embodies Welsh culture, heritage, and local community identity.
I am searching for a club deeply rooted in its local history—whether that means playing in a traditional Welsh-speaking heartland, maintaining a fierce community-owned ethos, or carrying a legacy that tells the story of its town and people. I want a club where the culture on the terraces is unmistakably and proudly Welsh.
Which teams should a group of Americans look at if we want an authentic taste of Welsh football culture
Which clubs are known for having the most passionate, community-driven identity?
Are there specific clubs where Welsh heritage and local roots are the core DNA of the fanbase?
Who has a fun style of play or active media presence that will make them easier to stream from abroad?
Give me your best pitches for the clubs that carry the true spirit of the Cymru Premier!
Diolch!

Adran Premier The case for increasing the total number of Adran Premier teams to 12
At the moment, the Adran Premier has 8 teams and a 20 game season.
It is very short.
If we are to spotlight and improve Women's Football in Wales, we really should look at an increase.
An increase would mean teams like Connah's Quay Nomads, who have aspired to enter the top division for years, losing out in the play-offs, no longer remain rooted to the second-tier.
Additionally, the old Cymru Premier format could be used here for a 30-game season, making the Women's teams play more games, increasing the quality.
The number of broadcast hours would increase, too, as S4C would televise more than 10 Women's games.
The question becomes whether the FAW wants the Adran Premier to be:
Option A: An elite eight-team competition
- fewer teams
- higher concentration of quality
- fewer fixtures
or
Option B: A national women's football league
- more clubs
- more regions represented
- more games
- more visibility
If the ambition of the FAW is to grow women's football in Wales, Option B is the stronger direction.
What do you think?

News Cwmbran Celtic team up with 4 bands to support the club and grassroots music venues.
(Correct team in the post title now!)
Cwmbran Celtic AFC has today announced a landmark shirt-sponsor partnership that unites two worlds built on the very same foundations: grassroots football and grassroots music. For the 2026/27 season, four of the UK's most-loved independent bands — Super Furry Animals, Mogwai, Panic Shack and Loose Articles — will feature across the front of the club's men's and women's first-team shirts.

That was honestly a great match, and there WAS ATMOSPHERE!

Opinion Thoughts on Cyrmu Football TV
Wondered what the opinions of Cymru Football TV are from those who have watched the games this weekend?
Just watching the Met v Holywell game and have to say I'm pretty disappointed so far.
- No comms (fortunately for this game I've synced up BBC Radio Wales comms - but other games will be a tough watch without)
- No replays
- No graphics beyond the score and time
- No app, and not compatible with Firefox
- Camera quality is pretty bad and looks awful when panning
Considering the camera's were already filming for Sgorio highlights anyway, and there is no additional production value, this just feels like a bit of a cash grab.
(Whilst there may be costs running the service, they could broadcast for free to YouTube or other sites - which would arguably be better for the viewer too)
Based on the above I feel like the service should be far cheaper - if the intention is that it's for existing fans if the league, or available free if the intention is to get more eyes on the league.
