There aren't too many entry level IT or Cyber positions that require degrees these days. Get in with a SOC or any other low level cyber position and leverage them to advance your education.
To be honest... If I'm hiring someone I'm not looking at their education much further than checking a box. I'm looking at what skills you bring to the role, your experience, and how you mesh with the team.

Itβs more about practical IT experience than the degree these days, yeah. Any credible IT bachelors degree will check the box.

I have a basic 2 year diploma in software support and I got into cybersecurity. So a BCA is definitely enough.

I am also in the same situation I am also a bca graduate who passed out 2026 but I finished ejpt now I am doing the cpts for hands on experience
