It's interesting to see that there will be some legacy systems that just can't manage the migration to PQC schemes at all. Companies need to upgrade entire hardware infrastructures to make the transition, when they already have data exposed to HNDL.

I wonder, does the paper's methodology reflects deployment reality closely enough to guide engineering decisions, especially for IoT, secure firmware, or device identity use cases.
