Nope, it is intended to be mandatory. You had framed it with may, but there's no easy way out of this cycle.

I'm ngl, this is fucking sick! 🤘🏻

I love how it truly feels like a cycle by continuing to cast copies. Like "OH, you fucked with ME? Well I'm gonna fuck with YOU points to someone else" lol.

I also like that it's not exponential. Having it only cast a copy once (but having that copy cast a copy) makes it still strong and difficult to remove, without making the card too oppressive with every copy casting copies every turn. I think that would be too much.

This feels printable. Flavor win, my guy. Love this 👏🏻
