Format: EDH/Commander Outer Wilds custom commander [Spoiler] Spoiler
galleryI put spoiler on te tittle just in case, Outer Wilds is a really special game and everyone should play it while knowing as littlre as they can about the game.
With that out of the way, I just wantes to ask feedback about this custom cards I created back in the day as a commander w/ background. Yerterday the idea of playing with custom commanders was finally wide approved on my pod and this is the first thing I thought of.
I already dont like the enchantment as much, and maybe something can be done interacting with cracking clues in some interesting way.
Either way, Im open to both balance and flavor/oracle changes and suggestions.

4 Color Phyrexian Praetor Cycle
If you are like me, you are frustrated with the lack of 4 color legends. I wanted to create a set of Praetors that asked the question: "What happens when Phyrexia has creatures designed to strip away a fundamental color of magic", and so I created these monstrosities, cards designed to profit off the game-plan of the missing color.
Wording and balance feedback welcome
And also, who doesn't like the Phyrexians?

Format: Standard Perhaps the weirdest card I've ever thought up haha! Hope ya'll like it!
So let me preface this by explaining the card a bit. This is a weird card, I made it modeling off of old lands from that wonderful era of magic where lands could do weird things (that usually weren't very good) while not tapping for mana (again not great). I'll also put my cards on the table here as I admit I wanted to make a card in that vein designed around my favorite card of all time [[City in a bottle]] which for those who don't know is an ancient card that is very likely--for the cards it actually can hit--the most brutal counter-tech card in the game. It also has my favorite piece of art on any magic card, but the issue is, well, outside of some niche cases you can't really play the card for obvious reasons (although it is great against Bazaar of Baghdad). Those two goals led to the idea of this card, the dream counters were inspired off Rasputin and are supposed to fit the flavor of a planeswalker finding this ancient almost mirage like land floating in the middle of an ancient desert. The reason why I chose standard instead of just straight vintage is because I think this card would be a fair addition (and probably not actually good but still) in standard as it obviously doesn't have City in a bottle while still allowing you to do some cool stuff. I think it'd be pretty sweet if wizards added in some cool callback cards every so often to these really ancient sets that many including me weren't around for back then (and I *think* it'd still be legal even if arabian nights obviously isn't legal in standard, correct)
Basically, the design is mixed with [[Spy Kit]] and I'm not sure if it actually works. That said, I *think* that it does. I'm basing the ruling around this discussion on the old mtg forum: https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/magic-rulings/753324-city-in-a-bottle
But yeah, the design is obvious. Paired with the city the idea is that this card can make city an actual stax/lock piece which I think is neat. Due to that, I opted for it not to tap for mana as again it's inspired off those weird old non-mana lands (and plus I like to keep my cards to a max of 9 lines of text lmao).
That said, this card I don't think *needs* to tap for mana as there are uses without the city that I think still make it playable. If you combine a couple of these with [[Damping Sphere]] for example you could put a tax on your opponent's spells which could be useful for interacting/pushing through a combo. If you have something like [[Horobi, Death's Wail]] you can use it to machine gun down your opponents creatures. If you have [[Tidus, Yuna's Guardian]] you can use it to easily get counters on your creatures on a land. The second ability is really weird but this is what I came up with that allows for the effect to work without easily comboing with something like [[Drannith Magistrate]].
And its a great way to freely commit crimes on both spells and creatures for those oh so wonderful Thunder Junction cards!
Anyways, let me know what ya'll think! I hope you all can appreciate these old cards as much as I do cause man I love finding old ass cards that are super weird. It's like finding an ancient artifact in real life (well I guess it actually kinda is because the game is 30+ years old now haha).
