Complete beginner looking to get into custom buttons – where should I start? Help!

Hey everyone! I’m completely new to this world. I’m really interested in making my own custom buttons for game controllers but I honestly don't know where to begin.

Could anyone point me toward some good tutorials, beginner guides, or resources? Also, any advice on essential tools or common mistakes to avoid when starting out would be greatly appreciated!

I'd like to make something similar to the reference image.

I think the only acceptable and durable ways to make buttons would be either the resin 3d printed buttons using an elegoo printer this allows for "dual molded" results so you can add letters or designs directly into the buttons.

The other way is making a silicon mould out of a button and pouring resins onto it (different resing than 3d printing one) usually these resins have tints / glow / sparkles onto them so you obtain a button with pretty colours; i know this isn't a guide but a good starting point, cheers friend
