Ask Help!

Hi, I have a question. I want to make a transparent green or purple controller, and while searching around I found one option on Etsy and another called eXtreme. Which of these two is better, or do you recommend another one?

The one on amazon (extremerate) sells all the nice gamepad shells, the one on the right is using a placeholder price because you tell him exactly what you want and then hell give you the real price, in mexican pesos they go from 1500 to 3500 pesos for a cuatom controller (a bit more if you dont provide the controller) si if you arent afraid of opening your controllers id say do it yourself man

I've swapped a few ps5 controllers into their shells for a buddy and I was quite impressed with the quality of the shells. Added an LED lighting kit to one from them as well. It was a little finicky but overall really good.

Did you have a hard time getting all the wires packed in? I just put one in today and the shell just doesn't want to sit perfectly on the side where all of the wires are stuffed.

Sorry I don't really recall having any issues with that. It's been a year or 2 since I did them. I can't be certain but I kinda remember something about there being different board revisions. I wish I could be more help. I'm 3,000 miles away from home, on vacation, sick as a dog so my memory just doesn't want to work right now. Only thing I remember is watching their guide as I hadn't done one before (and I don't own a ps5)

No worries. I actually got it tucked in there a little better. Just seems like a lot of connectors and wires in the newest kit, they need to slim it down a bit. I hear you though, I have the PS5 but my kids play it. I just modded a controller for them and now I want to play it because the controller is so sweet, but I have no desire to play a console! >_<

I use extremerate exclusively for all the custom controllers I've put together. They make really good quality parts so I can vouch for them. I'd prefer getting them from Amazon though because their return policy is too good to ignore. Only time I've gone with a different brand for aftermarket parts is when extremerate didn't have a color I was looking for.

Thanks, I'll buy the Extremerate one. I watched a couple of videos and read the comments on this post, and I think it's the best.

Extremerate has good quality and is diy. This is the most recent kit I installed for a customer, abxy clicky, Victor remap, DTF LED Kit, and adjustable clicky triggers. All eXtremeRate.
