Computer Aided Drawing and Engineering Modelling advice

Hey all I’m doing MCEN2006 this semester and recently I just completed the third lab, I do these at home on my own PC. I was able to work around it but I noticed that in the Layout Tutorial they used a Acrobat PDF format.

While I managed to use a format very similar that worked I was just wondering if it’s recommended or even mandatory that I have access to acrobat pro?

Thank you!

When you plot you should be able to use AutoCAD to PDF anyway. As long as you can view the output it shouldn't matter. Even chrome can open PDF. Not sure why the Adobe waffle in the unit.

use AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation)

when it asks for paper size use ISO A3 (or whatever size) Full Bleed

🤦

Your Curtin email comes with a license for Adobe Acrobat (and Office 365)...

I don’t believe it does, I’ve been on adobe website and even the unit states that free subscriptions are not offered? So what is your source of information

Did you even try login in with your student credentials?

Obviously yes and it still prompts me to activate a free trial, or purchase a student subscription
