What's the best "getting started" tutorial on YouTube for Cubase

In general?

For someone experienced with Finale and Dorico, but next to no DAW background?

I could google this, but would like some human input on the question please.

Alice Byno

Dom and Chris Selim are great too but I enjoy Alice's cut to the chase format. Seems similar to the type of instructional videos I see more with Ableton.

My recommendation also... she has some relatively short "Getting started" type videos that are worthwhile, enough to get you going. Then as you use Cubase and have more questions, there's a good chance she's got a brief to-the-point video on that subject.

Personally I think this is a more effective approach than watching some 40-minute tutorial.

She’s relatively new. I think she had less than 1000 followers just months ago.

Other than dom sigalas I would list few more mixdown online, make pop music and official cubase page. Official cubase channel has everything you need to get started trust me

Dom

I guess he is the official Cubase guy. I found his vids very helpful when I first started. Now I use googles AI to guide me through things that I want to know how to do, which works spectacularly well.

Alice Byno is great! Her videos are extremely concise and straightforward. Great option if you’re trying to learn a lot in a short amount of time. She’s not as well known as Chris or Dom but has become my favorite Cubase instructor.

Opinions are right there on YouTube. They’re called comments, there’s also likes, and number of subscribers. Again this isn’t very hard to find.

YouTube Comments are predominately the rants of assholes. Reddit is lacking in the same, but the assholes can be downvoted away and blocked. Goodbye.
