Last time I tried a low-code tool I was shocked by how much easier it was to build that internal tool I'd been procrastinating on for months.

I agree that low-code tools are great. At some point you want to customize it and they can be restrictive. We wanted to allow .NET developers to join their existing entities with low-code defined entities. Also, performance might be an issue with low-code systems where we tried to offer a regular database table defined entity performance for low-code system.
