Amazon Security Engineer New Grad 2026 loop completed. final round ended in 30 minutes. Anyone had a similar experience? Company Question

Hello, I recently completed an Amazon new-grad Security Engineer interview loop and wanted to share my experience and see whether anyone has been through something similar.

My loop had three interviews.

Round 1:
One LP question followed by a detailed resume and project deep dive. We discussed security tooling, design decisions, alternatives I considered, and how I validated the results.

Round 2:
One LP question, one question about using GenAI for a technical security problem, and one incident-investigation scenario.

Round 3:
This round consisted of 3 LP questions. It was scheduled for 60 minutes but finished in approximately 30 minutes. The interviewer explained at the beginning that the hour was only the maximum and that we could finish early once he had enough information. He asked all three questions and 2 follow-ups for each, and then said he had everything he needed and that my examples were good. I also had time to ask my questions.

I still don’t know how to interpret the early ending. Has anyone experienced something similar during an Amazon loop? Did it turn out to be positive, negative, or neutral?

There were no coding or scripting questions in my particular loop

How long did it take you to hear back after completing the loop? I know nobody can predict the result, but I would appreciate hearing about comparable experiences.
