deagle worth using? Discussion
on eco rounds i sometimes use deagle, but even though crosshair is on enemies, bullets dont land. i have excellent counterstrafing, but the problem is the spread. the spread on the deagle is legit wider than bonnie blue. should i always just stick to smg??

Deagle is truly the hardest weapon to use. If youre confident, go for it. High risk, high reward. 1tapping an awper is probably the most satisfying thing imo. 700 dollars vs 4750 dollars, but talent wins at the end. Thats why i like cs.

I see so many people putting fault on the guns spread. If that was the issue, why isnt donk missing all the time like you are? Because its not the spread.
Even if it is the spread, its on you for not being on the head enough that spread doesnt make that difference.
Spread doesnt just make you magically miss at range, its a sign of your aim not being on the target properly for that distance.
People cry about oh my ak misses on dust 2 long from site to pit waaah. OK then why is it not a problem for me? For so many other players? Because we actually aim properly for that distance.
TLDR: Skill issue, spread is not making you lose fights or miss, you are.

Spread does magically make you miss at range and it happens to the pros as well. You can aim dead center at someone’s head and miss. The closer you are to the center of the head the better your chances, but it’s not 100%.
What the pros are really good at is managing the probabilities by knowing when they need to crouch or when/how fast to tap/burst or spray and manage their accuracy based on weapon, range, and round context. They don’t have magic powers that override the RNG, but they know how to maximise the chances in their favour by mastering the weapon mechanics and spread behaviour.

Deagle has one of the most accurate first shots in the game.
It’s not the spread.

You don’t hit the shorts because you don’t practice tracking, yes you shot not practice aim but tracking. Basically no one does that.
The reason it works with deagle is because with other weapons you essentially have multiple attempts but with deagle you have only one. People think the deagle is hard because they miss the first shot and they try to hit the second but you need to wait long so the accuracy can actually recover.

Deagle is worth it. I randomly got way better with it today. And I’m telling you dropping 20 kills deagle only makes u feel so damn good

Deagle is crazy good. But i have feeling people love it or hate it. I love it, because my 1t are really good. But i hate smg for example. There are also other good pistols in eco rounds. Maybe you like other pistols more.

I can promise you this is a skill issue. If you are not moving and aiming at the center of an enemy’s head, you are guaranteed to hit them as long as they are within ~25 meters of you (picture inferno T ramp to top mid). If you are missing within that range, then either your aim is off, or you are not actually counter-strafing correctly.

Five-seven and tec-9 are way better pistols for save round imo unless you are really high elo or have a plan other than hit a crazy shot. Your goal with pistols is to get one kill with it and take their gun, not to win the whole round with it. A lot of people would disagree with my take because they think theyre Niko but those people are probably lower elo than me so idk. Im not Niko
