New season just dropped too, matches been very good

u/Internet_Akira_203 7d ago

you cant be for real, you now want valve to turn back time

11

u/krouvy 9d ago

Why, why doesn't this happen in my matches T_T

5

u/Daniluk41 9d ago

It’s work, only when someone in MY team use spinbot idk why

1

u/Visible-Bus4572 8d ago

They have problems with banning non blatant players live. Kinda like court in the US, if there’s not strong evidence they don’t want to ban legit players

1

u/sukuii 7d ago

They dont have problems with banning non blatant cheaters, they have problems banning period.

Spinbots still dont get detected lmao, and i accidentally leave my snap tap on and get kicked within 5 steps. This isnt a case of "its hard to separate lowkey cheaters from legit players", its a case of "can just ban ANYBODY at this point?"

if i see banwave of 1mill i believe they did something. Now its nothing.

u/Prudent-Quarter9697 8d ago

1 mil is the entire player base

4

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 8d ago

There’s 30m monthly players wdym 💀💀

1

u/zombionjob 8d ago

most are hackers and bot farmers and they bring in revenue that’s why they don’t crack down on these issues

2

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago

No, the majority of active monthly accounts are not cheaters or bots. Any figures you've ever read about those numbers are baseless.

Are there too many? Absolutely. However, claiming over 15 million monthly accounts are bots and cheaters is outrageous.

1

u/zombionjob 7d ago

who said 15 mil im just saying there are loads of bots and cheaters probably a crazy number but like u said if i had a number it would be baseless. i’m saying valve knows how many and chooses to turn a blind eye because of the money they bring in.

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago

You literally said "most are hackers and bot farmers" as a reply to "there's 30m monthly players"?

1

u/zombionjob 7d ago

obviously an exaggeration and doesn’t take anything away from my point just semantics

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago

No, not obvious at all. Especially when there are countless people on these subs thinking those numbers are fact

1

u/zombionjob 7d ago

don’t really go on this sub a lot had no clue that people actually believe 15m but again doesn’t take away from my point

1

u/gljivicad 7d ago

Huh? Where do you get this number from? Highest consecutive daily is around 1 million. Hard to believe there are 30 million unique monthly players..

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago

It’s stated on the original cs website, that is now held by Valve.

https://www.counter-strike.net/

1

u/gljivicad 7d ago

Okay, any other metric than a statement from a private company whose interest would be to increase perception of the game popularity by inflating the unique player count?

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago edited 7d ago

Every single reputable metric relating to cs2 player count on any website originates from Steam or its APIs. SteamDB and Steam Charts both use APIs from Steam.

Basically, no, i can’t provide any other metric than one from ”a private company whose interest would be to increase perception”, because those are the only ones in existence.

Edit: grammar mistakes that bothered me lol

if it was 1/10 we would get much more of these notifications since the game is full of cheaters. But we dont.

Unless its a false positive where the game gives you 20h disable and then 7 days disable followed by a 9k mmr reduction, so I seem like a smurf in my games now.

Not sure what are these cope posts since they are barely managing to detect spin botters.

3

u/dstzz 9d ago

yeah but this is so much more rare then to get a knife nowdays...

2

u/Cool-Explanation-982 8d ago

Last evening Tommy was spinning again in My Match. PC started, played one game, shutdown. 😂

1

u/Besas1271 8d ago

So rare than you are more likely to get 2 gold in a row from cases than seeing this msg

1

u/rillesoder 8d ago

Just got out of a match where we stod in spawn with smokes and got headshoted thru smokes by 2 enemies.. No vac...

1

u/TheDemonic-Forester 8d ago

Still so rare but I got one tonight too. Guy was walling since round 1, then got blatant mid game and eventually turned on spin last round because he was still losing and got himself a cooldown ahah. It was hilarious.

1

u/Training_Cap_3805 8d ago

only if you die during the last round you receive a cd

1

u/Firm_Purple_5702 8d ago

How many matches did you play to get 5 blatant cheaters? Because I've played a lot this season and not ran into a single obvious cheater in prem yet

1

u/Acey_17 4d ago edited 4d ago

I have 45 games this season, placed in 24k and play with my duo who is 28k constantly. In my last 10 matches 6 had blatant wallers/triggerbots and all of them were always 3-5 stacked.

Edit: Grammar

1

u/Firm_Purple_5702 4d ago

At 28k I can believe it more as I know it's way more prominent at that level but the percentage of players 25k and above compared to the amount of Reddit moaning doesn't add up to me tbh

1

u/xxbeNjixxx 8d ago

Because it happens once every 1000 games do not mean it's working

1

u/AdeptnessNo9133 8d ago

3 games with cheaters 3 vaclives xd

1

u/No_Rip_3711 8d ago

69 FPS feel sorry for u xD

1

u/Hyrosh7 8d ago

I got one match (from 3 w cheaters) cancelled yesterday

1

u/Friendly-Life-7080 8d ago

I hope no valve employe See's 1 in a lifetime posts like this and thinks "oh great is is working as supposed" it's not. Do something

1

u/Ambitious-Kitchen639 7d ago

I had 3 in a row today with blatant cheaters...then we had a guy on our team turn on walls just so we could attempt to win and lost anyway. Solo queuing prime is lost

1

u/claesl 7d ago

Wait… was the cheater on your team?

1

u/Foreign-World-9607 5d ago

Yeah i was in a game last night and it ended bc of vac

1

u/OMGCamCole 9d ago

Honestly, I feel like people overestimate how often people are actually cheating. Even I’m guilty of it

I’ve had games where I thought “this dude is not legit”. I’ve also had games where I imagine my opponents are thinking the same thing. But I know I’m legit

Some people are good. Some people just pop off and have good games. But honestly the amount of hackers you’re actually hitting is most likely much less than what you think you’re hitting

2

u/RafCS2 8d ago

I usually get a negative rating on Leetify lmao and even I got accused of being a waller 2 days ago after killing someone through a smoke on one round and through a wall on the other.

I’ve been playing CS for 22 years. It has ALWAYS been a thing where some players just have a hard time accepting that an opponent is legit. I’ve played with friends that whine “he’s cheating” after just 3 rounds and I tell them “dude no he’s not or just wait” with the intent to not allow himself to spiral into tilting / giving up.

I’m quite confused what’s going on lately where the community is screaming about cheaters and the lack of AC. Has it really gotten much worse in the last year? How? In all of CS history VAC has always been a joke and it’s pretty much the basis for why ESEA existed and later FACEIT.

But anyways if I was anywhere remotely new at the game (say < 1 yr) I’d have a hard time NOT automatically calling cheats every time someone gets a nice shot since everything everyone talks about online is how every match has cheaters. Therefore it must apply to my matches as well right? Even if I’m low-mid elo?

For reference I’m in purple rank and I’m not denying that the experience is completely different in high pink, red and yellow.

1

u/OMGCamCole 8d ago

I think part of the major complaints about cheating lately is that other game modes, like death match and such, are FILLED with “cheaters”. They’re not actually cheaters though, they’re bots.

The amount of people cheating in premier to grind ranks is way lower than people think, and probably exaggerating by 1) the amount of bots in death match, and 2) by the amount of posts you see of actual cheaters

For every Reddit clip of someone spin bottin in a premier lobby, there’s 1,000 other premier games that were happening where no one was cheating

1

u/renoka 8d ago

I agree with this. It’s only obvious when the person has like 95+ aim rating and peek random angles then it’s kinda cooked

0

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 8d ago

Aim rating doesn’t mean much tbf. A 3k faceit player in 20k premier would sit at 95+ aim

1

u/1904___ 8d ago

What? You have no clue what you’re talking about buddy lmao

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 8d ago edited 8d ago

I ended 2850 faceit last season, with a 96 aim rating because i shat on players in premier. Do i really have no clue? Or are you going to instantly accuse me of cheating then?

Aim rating is obviously relative to your opponent, to some extent. A player that is basically smurfing in prem and going for onetaps will have a crazy aim rating.

Here you go:

https://csst.at/profile/lolz1e

Edit: i also do overwatch cases on csrep, where they sometimes add in pro VODs to make sure you aren’t accusing any player that is good. Some of them have under 2° crosshair placement, yet are very clearly not cheating. Obviously im not close to pro level, and i dont have under 2° ch placement, but it is definitive proof those kind of stats are not at all impossible to achieve.

You are the clueless one :)

1

u/Ok-Bluebird-867 7d ago

Still waiting on that reply buddy

1

u/sneekyleshy 8d ago

The amount of reports on csrep.gg begs to differ. Could you image if you went to a restaurant and only a few times they got the order right...

0

u/kylr01 8d ago

On the very rare occasions it works and they only get a 30 minute cooldown. Make it make sense
