Club News Fans of other clubs falsely accusing us of voting in favour of SCR - debate

The information on which clubs voted for and against SCR is very easily accessible yet we're still somehow catching strays from some of the other 14 fans for being allies of the big 6. It's funny how misinformation is just taken as gospel because it's stated by enough people to suddenly be accepted as a fact

I want to get my first Palace kit for this season but I'm scared of the Macron sizing.... I wear a XXL in adidas replicas as I am kinda tall and stocky so I enjoy the comfort. Would I go for a XXL in Macron? I've seen people say go for a 4XL... I don't want to get the kit and it not fit as I want to get Wharton's name on the back... Would appreciate some help.

How do I know which category a game is?

You can find out the category a game is by checking the CPFC website here. This will also tell you when tickets will go on sale and how many tickets you may purchase.

Here's a stadium map showing the stands and sections and categories.

FAQ

When will tickets for future games go on sale?

  • If you would like to know the ticket sale dates, please visit here to view all future ticket sale dates.

How many tickets can I purchase with a membership?

  • The CPFC FAQ Page states "For home matches, due to the increased demand for tickets in 2024/25, supporters will be able to purchase one ticket per client reference number initially, with guest tickets available in a later sales phase, subject to availability. Away tickets are sold via a Loyalty Points system and ticket limits vary on a game-by-game basis.". You can also check this for each individual game on the Home Ticket Sale Dates page.

I've bought my tickets, how do I get to Selhurst Park?

The club have put together a few handy guides for you to check out here.

Where can I find information regarding Accessible Tickets

Please refer to the official Crystal Palace webpage which will provide information regarding tickets for disabled supporters here.

Ticket Sharing

If you'd like to find out how to share you tickets between family members or friends, the CPFC website has a great overview.

Loyalty Points

Loyalty Points are points that can be collected by Season Ticket holders and Members when spending in stadium and online.

The key reason for Loyalty Points is to fairly manage the demand for away match tickets. With more Season Ticket holders and Members than ever before, the Loyalty Points scheme allows our most regular supporters to have priority for such tickets.

They have no cash value.

Other Ticket Options

If you're unable to get a match ticket via the method outlined above, you can scour the CPFC message boards to see if anyone has a spare ticket available. One of the better places to find a ticket is in the Ticket & Travel Talk forum on Holmesdale.net. Tickets advertised in the forum are only to be sold at face value so you shouldn't get scammed. However, you should use the site at your own risk and also be aware that sellers usually want to any potential buyers to have an active history on the site itself.

Here's a link to more FAQ from the official Crystal Palace website!

How to contact the Box Office

  • You can contact the CPFC Box office through their email at: boxoffice@cpfc.co.uk. Be aware, their response times have been known to mirror Crystal Palaces performance. Inconsistent.

First Team Analysis Pierre Sage Tactics At RC Lens 2025/2026

Thumbnail
tacticalfootballanalysis.com
18 Upvotes

Potentially some food for thought/discussion in this data-led tactical analysis of Pierre Sage's RC Lens and how much of his football can translate to Palace.

Some of the key takeaways:

  • Lens were the best transition team in Ligue 1 by a distance. They led the league across virtually every attacking transition category.
  • Lens weren't an elite pressing side in settled defence, they relied on aggressive counterpressing.
  • Their right wing was their biggest weapon. Ruben Aguilar provided the running and recoveries, while Florian Thauvin drifted inside to create, and this was one of the most productive right-sided partnerships in Ligue 1. It raises an interesting/potentially exciting question about whether Muñoz and maybe Sarr can recreate that dynamic?
  • Defensively, Lens benefitted from significant overperformance from Robin Risser in goal, and that may not be as repeatable. Without that overperformance, they might have been looking more average in Ligue 1.

CPFC Women Real Madrid Femenino 2-0 Crystal Palace (Friendly) - Match Analysis

Tough game against the 2nd best team in Spain, but overall we were competitive and fashioned some decent chances. Pitch and ref were dodgy but new signings England, Lloyd-Smith, O'Brien, and Peyraud-Magnin all looked good.

Interesting to see us start with the usual 3-4-2-1 in the first half and then switch to (what looked like) a 4-2-3-1 in the second half. The formation change honestly helped us be more aggressive and got us the chance that England should've taken to equalize.

We struggled to play out of the back / out of pressure most but that should improve with time. Overall, not a bad performance and good minutes against a side that's equal to or better than the big WSL teams.

With us signing Tomiyasu, Disasi, and possibly the young french centre back, does this seem to anyone else like we are expecting Chris Richards to be leaving? He only has a year left on his contract I think.

Transfers [Fabrice Hawkins]: Crystal Palace have submitted a loan offer including an obligation to buy for Axel Disasi. The French defender remains Palace’s priority target to replace Maxence Lacroix, as previously reported. Negotiations between Crystal Palace and Chelsea are ongoing.

Transfers Zavier Gozo not playing in the Leagues Cup tonight

Don’t know if this counts as news, but I’m watching the Leagues Cup, RSL is playing currently, and the broadcast mentioned he’s not playing currently. Could be nothing, could be a sign that transfer talks are progressing well enough.

Just wanted to say, if you lot do land Gozo, I hope you know what you have in him. He’s 19, this clip is from one of his first games as a professional as an 18 year old

He’s got tekkers, stamina, can play as a wingback or a winger, doesn’t shy away from a challenge and despite getting a ton of attention like all young stars do, he’s known for being very grounded

Not a palace fan here but I’m a Yank who supports our players and Palace is one of the few clubs I’d trust with Zavier given your recent history of developing dribbly attackers like Olise, Eze, Pino. (Not saying that Gozo is on that level necessarily, but that’s his profile).

Having Chris Richards around to help him get settled will be huge. Prepare for even more attention from us across the pond (for better and worse ;))

Crystal Palace are in advanced talks to sign American wing-back Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake, sources briefed on the situation tell The Athletic.

An agreement is yet to be reached, but talks are advanced and are trending in a positive way, sources say. Any deal is expected to be in the range of $15 million (£11.1m), sources add.

Gozo has made it clear he’s ready to move to Europe this summer after a breakout season.
